Lattice Evidence for Bound Heavy Tetraquarks / Francis, Anthony (CERN) ; Hudspith, Renwick J (York U., Canada) ; Lewis, Randy (York U., Canada) ; Maltman, Kim (York U., Canada ; Adelaide U., Sch. Chem. Phys.)
We investigate the possibility of $qq'\bar{Q}\bar{Q}'$ tetraquark bound states using $n_f = 2 + 1$ lattice QCD with pion masses $\simeq 164, 299$ and 415 MeV. Two types of lattice interpolating operator are chosen, reflecting first diquarkantidiquark and second meson-meson structure. [...]

Lattice predictions for bound heavy tetraquarks / Francis, Anthony (CERN) ; Hudspith, Renwick J (York U., Canada) ; Lewis, Randy (York U., Canada) ; Maltman, Kim (York U., Toronto (main) ; Adelaide U., Sch. Chem. Phys.)
We investigate the possibility of doubly heavy $qq^\prime \bar Q \bar Q^\prime$ tetraquark bound states using $n_f=2+1$ lattice QCD with pion masses $\simeq 164$, $299$ and $415$ MeV. Two types of lattice interpolating operator are chosen, reflecting first diquark-antidiquark and second meson-meson structure. [...]

Ruling out some predictions of deeply-bound light-heavy tetraquarks using lattice QCD / Colquhoun, Brian (York U., Canada) ; Francis, Anthony (U. Bern, AEC ; CERN ; NYCU, Hsinchu) ; Hudspith, Renwick (Mainz U., Inst. Kernphys. ; U. Mainz, PRISMA) ; Lewis, Randy (York U., Canada) ; Maltman, Kim (York U., Toronto (main) ; Adelaide U., Sch. Chem. Phys.)
We discuss our lattice QCD calculations of a number of tetraquark channels with at least one heavy quark where some phenomenological models, already fully constrained by fits to the ordinary meson and baryon spectrum, predict deep binding. We find no evidence of deeply-bound tetraquarks, except in previously established strong-interaction stable $I=0$, $J^P=1^+$, $ud\bar{b}\bar{b}$ and $I=1/2$, $J^P=1^+$ $\ell s\bar{b}\bar{b}$ (where $\ell=u/d$) channels, allowing us to rule out models predicting deep binding. Evidence for charm-bottom tetraquarks and the mass dependence of heavy-light tetraquark states from lattice QCD / Francis, Anthony (CERN) ; Hudspith, Renwick J. (York U., Canada) ; Lewis, Randy (York U., Canada) ; Maltman, Kim (York U., Canada)
We continue our study of heavy-light four-quark states and find evidence from lattice QCD for the existence of a strong-interaction-stable $I(J^P)=0(1^+)$ $ud\bar{c}\bar{b}$ tetraquark with mass in the range of 15 to 61 MeV below $\bar{D}B^*$ threshold. Since this range includes the electromagnetic $\bar{D}B\gamma$ decay threshold, current uncertainties do not allow us to determine whether such a state would decay electromagnetically, or only weakly. A lattice investigation of exotic tetraquark channels / Hudspith, R.J. (U. Mainz, PRISMA) ; Colquhoun, B. (York U., Canada) ; Francis, A. (CERN) ; Lewis, R. (York U., Canada) ; Maltman, K. (York U., Canada ; Adelaide U., Sch. Chem. Phys.)
We perform an $n_f=2+1$ lattice study of a number of channels where past claims exist in the literature for the existence of strong-interaction-stable light-heavy tetraquarks. We find no evidence for any such deeply-bound states, beyond the $J^P=1^+$, $I=0$ $ud\bar{b}\bar{b}$ and $I=1/2$ $ls\bar{b}\bar{b}$ states already identified in earlier lattice studies. [...]

Diquark properties from full QCD lattice simulations / Francis, Anthony (Bern U.) ; de Forcrand, Philippe (CERN) ; Lewis, Randy (York U., Canada) ; Maltman, Kim (York U., Canada ; Adelaide U.)
We study diquarks on the lattice in the background of a static quark, in a gauge-invariant formalism with quark masses down to almost physical $m_\pi$. We determine mass differences between diquark channels as well as diquark-quark mass differences. [...]

Shapes and sizes of diquarks in lattice QCD / Francis, Anthony (NYCU, Hsinchu) ; de Forcrand, Philippe (CERN) ; Lewis, Randy (York U., Toronto (main)) ; Maltman, Kim (York U., Toronto (main) ; Adelaide U., Sch. Chem. Phys.)
The idea of diquarks as effective degrees of freedom in QCD has been a successful concept in explaining observed hadron spectra. Recently they have also played an important role in studying doubly heavy tetraquarks in phenomenology and on the lattice. [...]
