Parton Scattering at Small-x and Scaling Violation / Kim, Victor T. (CERN) ; Pivovarov, Grigorii B. (Moscow, INR) ; Vary, James P. (Iowa State U., IITAP ; Iowa State U.)
Scaling violation of inclusive jet production at small-$x$ in hadron scattering with increasing total collision energy is discussed. Perturbative QCD based on the factorisation theorem for hard processes and GLAPD evolution equations predicts a minimum for scaled cross-section ratio that depends on jet rapidity. [...]

High-energy QCD asymptotic behavior of photon-photon collisions / Brodsky, S J ; Fadin, V S ; Kim, V T ; Lipatov, L N ; Pivovarov, G B
The high-energy behavior of the total cross section for highly virtual photons, as predicted by the BFKL equation at next-to-leading order (NLO) in QCD, is discussed. The NLO BFKL predictions, improved by the BLM optimal scale setting, are in good agreement with recent OPAL and L3 data at CERN LEP2. [...]

The high-energy behaviour of the total cross section for highly virtual photons, as predicted by the BFKL equation at next-to-leading order (NLO) in QCD, is presented. The NLO BFKL predictions, improved by the BLM optimal scale setting, are in excellent agreement with recent OPAL and L3 data at CERN LEP2..

On factorisation at small x / Ciafaloni, Marcello ; Colferai, D ; Salam, Gavin P
We investigate factorisation at small x using a variety of analytical and numerical techniques. Previous results on factorisation in collinear models are generalised to the case of the full BFKL equation, and illustrated in the example of a collinear model which includes higher twist terms. [...]

Review of results on forward physics and diffraction by CMS / Baldenegro Barrera, Cristian (Kansas U.) /CMS Collaboration
Results by the CMS Collaboration on forward physics, diffraction, and physics in the small-$x$ limit of quantum chromodynamics (QCD), are presented. In particular, results on azimuthal angle decorrelations between two jets in events where two outermost jets are separated by a large rapidity interval are discussed. [...]

Color dipole BFKL-Regge factorization and high-energy photon-photon scattering / Nikolaev, N N ; Speth, J ; Zoller, V R
Based on the color dipole representation, we investigate consequences for the gamma * gamma *, gamma * gamma scattering of the finding by Fadin, Kuraev, and Lipatov (1977) that the incorporation of asymptotic freedom into the BFKL equation makes the QCD pomeron a series of isolated poles in the angular momentum plane. The emerging color dipole BFKL-Regge factorization allows us to relate in a model- independent way the contributions of each BFKL pole to the gamma * gamma *, gamma * gamma scattering and the deep inelastic scattering on protons.
