Higgs-mass predictions in the MSSM and beyond / Slavich, P. (ed.) (Paris, LPTHE) ; Heinemeyer, S. (ed.) (Madrid, Autonoma U. ; Cantabria Inst. of Phys.) ; Bagnaschi, E. (PSI, Villigen) ; Bahl, H. Predictions for the Higgs masses are a distinctive feature of supersymmetric extensions of the Standard Model, where they play a crucial role in constraining the parameter space. The discovery of a Higgs boson and the remarkably precise measurement of its mass at the LHC have spurred new efforts aimed at improving the accuracy of the theoretical predictions for the Higgs masses in supersymmetric models. Spontaneous Baryogenesis from Axions with Generic Couplings / Domcke, Valerie (DESY ; CERN ; EPFL, Lausanne, LPPC) ; Ema, Yohei (DESY) ; Mukaida, Kyohei (DESY) ; Yamada, Masaki (Tohoku U. (main) ; Tohoku U.)
Axion-like particles can source the baryon asymmetry of our Universe through spontaneous baryogenesis. Here we clarify that this is a generic outcome for essentially any coupling of an axion-like particle to the Standard Model, requiring only a non-zero velocity of the classical axion field while baryon or lepton number violating interactions are present in thermal bath. Impact of low-$x$ resummation on QCD analysis of HERA data / xFitter Developers' Team Collaboration
Fits to the final combined HERA deep-inelastic scattering cross-section data within the conventional DGLAP framework of QCD have shown some tension at low $x$ and low $Q^2$. A resolution of this tension incorporating $\ln(1/x)$-resummation terms into the HERAPDF fits is investigated using the xFitter program. [...]

Impact of jet-production data on the next-to-next-to-leading-order determination of HERAPDF2.0 parton distributions / H1 Collaboration
The HERAPDF2.0 ensemble of parton distribution functions (PDFs) was introduced in 2015. The final stage is presented, a next-to-next-to-leading-order (NNLO) analysis of the HERA data on inclusive deep inelastic $ep$ scattering together with jet data as published by the H1 and ZEUS collaborations. Dijet production in diffractive deep-inelastic scattering in next-to-next-to-leading order QCD / Britzger, D. (Heidelberg U.) ; Currie, J. (Durham U., IPPP) ; Gehrmann, T. (Zurich U.) ; Huss, A. (CERN) ; Niehues, J. (Durham U., IPPP) ; Žlebčík, R. (DESY)
Hard processes in diffractive deep-inelastic scattering can be described by a factorisation into parton-level subprocesses and diffractive parton distributions. In this framework, cross sections for inclusive dijet production in diffractive deep-inelastic electron-proton scattering (DIS) are computed to next-to-next-to-leading order (NNLO) QCD accuracy and compared to a comprehensive selection of data. Probing the strange content of the proton with charm production in charged current at LHeC / Abdolmaleki, Hamed (Semnan U.) ; Bertone, Valerio (INFN, Pavia ; Pavia U.) ; Britzger, Daniel (Munich, Max Planck Inst.) ; Camarda, Stefano (CERN) ; Cooper-Sarkar, Amanda (Oxford U.) ; Geiser, Achim (DESY) ; Giuli, Francesco (INFN, Rome2 ; Rome U., Tor Vergata) ; Glazov, Alexander (DESY) ; Luszczak, Agnieszka (Cracow Tech. We study charm production in charged-current deep-inelastic scattering (DIS) using the xFitter framework. Recent results from the LHC have focused renewed attention on the determination of the strange-quark parton distribution function (PDF) and the DIS charm process provides important complementary constraints on this quantity. NANOGrav results and LIGO-Virgo primordial black holes in axion-like curvaton model / Inomata, Keisuke (Chicago U., KICP) ; Kawasaki, Masahiro (Tokyo U., ICRR ; Tokyo U., IPMU) ; Mukaida, Kyohei (CERN ; DESY) ; Yanagida, Tsutomu T. (Tsung-Dao Lee Inst., Shanghai ; Shanghai Jiao Tong U. ; Tokyo U., IPMU)
We discuss a possible connection between the recent NANOGrav results and the primordial black holes (PBHs) for the LIGO-Virgo events. In particular, we focus on the axion-like curvaton model, which provides a sizable amount of PBHs and GWs induced by scalar perturbations around the NANOGrav frequency range. [...]

The charm quark mass is one of the fundamental parameters of the Standard Model Lagrangian. In this work we present a determination of the MSbar charm mass from a fit to the inclusive and charm HERA deep-inelastic structure function data. [...]

New Physics in $b \to s \ell^+ \ell^-$ confronts new data on Lepton Universality / Ciuchini, Marco (INFN, Rome3) ; Coutinho, António M. In light of the very recent updates on the $R_K$ and $R_{K^*}$ measurements from the LHCb and Belle collaborations, we systematically explore here imprints of New Physics in $b \to s \ell^+ \ell^- $ transitions using the language of effective field theories. We focus on effects that violate Lepton Flavour Universality both in the Weak Effective Theory and in the Standard Model Effective Field Theory. [...]

LHC Dark Matter Working Group: Next-generation spin-0 dark matter models / LHC Dark Matter Working Group Collaboration
Dark matter (DM) simplified models are by now commonly used by the ATLAS and CMS Collaborations to interpret searches for missing transverse energy ($E_T^\mathrm{miss}$). The coherent use of these models sharpened the LHC DM search program, especially in the presentation of its results and their comparison to DM direct-detection (DD) and indirect-detection (ID) experiments.
