Supplemental figures: "Transverse-momentum and event-shape dependence of D-meson flow harmonics in Pb-Pb collisions at ${\sqrt{s_{\rm{NN}}} = 5.02}$ TeV" /ALICE Collaboration
The following public note presents supplemental figures for the paper "Transverse-momentum and event-shape dependence of D-meson flow harmonics in Pb-Pb collisions at $\sqrt{s_{\rm{NN}}} = 5.02$ TeV"~\cite{Acharya:2020pnh}. The elliptic ($v_2$) and triangular ($v_3$) flow coefficients of prompt non-strange D mesons were measured at midrapidity ($|y|<0.8$) in the transverse momentum interval $1< p_{\rm T} <36$ GeV/$c$ in central (0-10\%) and semi-central (30-50\%) Pb-Pb collisions at the centre-of-mass energy per nucleon pair of $\sqrt{s_{\rm NN}}$=5.02 TeV with the ALICE detector at the LHC. Heavy-flavour hadrons are recognised as a powerful probe for the characterisation of the deconfined medium created in heavy-ion collisions, the Quark-Gluon Plasma (QGP). The ALICE Collaboration measured the production of ${\rm D}^{0}$, ${\rm D}^{+}$, ${\rm D}^*$ and ${\rm D_s}^{+}$ mesons in Pb-Pb collisions at $\sqrt{s_{\rm NN}}=5.02~{\rm TeV}$. [...]

Measurement of the D-meson nuclear modification factor and elliptic flow in Pb-Pb collisions at $\sqrt{s_{\text{{NN}}}}$ = 5.02 TeV with ALICE at the LHC / Jaelani, Syaefudin (Utrecht U.) /ALICE Collaboration
Heavy-flavour hadrons are effective probes to study the Quark-Gluon Plasma (QGP) formed in ultra-relativistic heavy-ion collisions. The ALICE Collaboration measured the D-mesons (D$^{0}$, D$^{+}$, D*$^{+}$ and D$^{+}_{\text s}$) production in Pb-Pb collisions at $\sqrt{s_{\text{{NN}}}}$ = 5.02 TeV. [...]

Nuclear modification factor and elliptic flow of open heavy flavours in Pb--Pb collisions with ALICE at the LHC / Zhang, Xiaoming (Hua-Zhong Normal U.) /ALICE
The latest results on the nuclear modification factor ($R_{\rm AA}$) and the elliptic flow ($v_{2}$) of D mesons and heavy-flavour hadron decay leptons in Pb--Pb collisions at $\sqrt{s_{\rm NN}}=5.02$ and $2.76$ TeV measured with ALICE are presented for different centrality classes. The results, obtained in a wide transverse momentum ($p_{\rm T}$) range and in different rapidity regions, provide further information on the properties of the medium.A suppression of a factor of about $3$--$4$ of production yields relative to pp collisions and a positive $v_{2}$ for open heavy-flavour particles are observed in $p_{\rm T}>5$ GeV/$c$ in most central collisions and in intermediate $p_{\rm T}$ region in semi-central collisions, respectively. Open-charmed mesons are unique tools to study the properties of the Quark–Gluon Plasma (QGP) formed in ultra-relativistic nucleus–nucleus collisions. The nuclear modification factor ($R_{AA}$) and elliptic flow ($v_2$) of D$^0$, D$^+$, D$^{∗+}$, and D$^{s+}$ mesons were measured by the ALICE Collaboration in Pb–Pb collisions at $\sqrt{s_{NN}} = 5.02 \textrm{TeV}$. Directed, elliptic and triangular flow of D mesons in ALICE / Luparello, Grazia (speaker) (Universita e INFN Trieste (IT))

Open heavy-flavour measurements in Pb-Pb collisions with ALICE at the LHC / Mischke, André (Utrecht U. (main)) /ALICE
The ALICE experiment has measured charm and beauty production in Pb–Pb collisions at $\sqrt{S_{\rm{NN}}}= 2.76 \text{ TeV}$ and $5.02 \text{ TeV}$, via the reconstruction of hadronic D-meson decays and semi-leptonic Dand B-meson decays. In this contribution, an overview is given on current open heavy-flavour results from ALICE ranging from the nuclear modification factor to elliptic flow measurements and on the interpretation of the data by comparing with different model calculations of in-medium energy loss..
