Computation of Yukawa couplings, determining superpotentials as well as the Kähler metric, with oblique (non-commuting) fluxes in magnetized brane constructions is an interesting unresolved issue, in view of the importance of such fluxes for obtaining phenomenologically viable models. In order to perform this task, fermion (scalar) wavefunctions on toroidally compactified spaces are presented for general fluxes, parameterized by Hermitian matrices with eigenvalues of arbitrary signatures. We construct a minimal example of a supersymmetric grand unified model in a toroidal compactification of type I string theory with magnetized D9-branes. Charged Macroscopic type II Strings and their Networks / Kumar, Alok (CERN ; Bhubaneswar, Inst. Phys.)
We write down charged macroscopic string solutions in type II string theories, compactified on torii, and present an explicit solution of the spinor Killing equations to show that they preserve 1/2 of the type II supersymmetries. The S-duality symmetry of the type IIB string theory in ten-dimensions is used to write down the SL(2,Z) multiplets of such strings and the corresponding 1/2 supersymmetry conditions. [...]

An O($\tilde{d}$, $\tilde{d}$) transformation is given which relates ungauged string actions to the gauged ones for a large class of models discussed recently by Giveon and Rocek.
