Shape evolution in even-mass $^{98-104}$Zr isotopes via lifetime measurements using the $\gamma \gamma $-coincidence technique / Pasqualato, G. (IJCLab, Orsay) ; Ansari, S. (IRFU, Saclay) ; Heines, J.S. (Oslo U.) ; Modamio, V. (Oslo U.) ; Görgen, A. (Oslo U.) ; Korten, W. (IRFU, Saclay) ; Ljungvall, J. (IJCLab, Orsay ; Strasbourg, IPHC) ; Clément, E. (GANIL) ; Dudouet, J. (IP2I, Lyon) ; Lemasson, A. (GANIL) et al.
The Zirconium (Z = 40) isotopic chain has attracted interest for more than four decades. The abrupt lowering of the energy of the first $2^+$ state and the increase in the transition strength B(E2; $2_1^\rightarrow 0_1^+$ going from $^{98}$Zr to $^{100}$Zr has been the first example of "quantum phase transition" in nuclear shapes, which has few equivalents in the nuclear chart. Search for $^{22}$Na in novae supported by a novel method for measuring femtosecond nuclear lifetimes / Fougères, Chloé (GANIL ; Argonne, PHY) ; de Oliveira Santos, François (GANIL) ; José, Jordi (Barcelona U. ; Barcelona, IEEC) ; Michelagnoli, Caterina (Laue-Langevin Inst.) ; Clément, Emmanuel (GANIL) ; Kim, Yung Hee (GANIL ; IBS, Daejeon, CENS) ; Lemasson, Antoine (GANIL) ; Guimarães, Valdir (Sao Paulo U.) ; Barrientos, Diego (CERN) ; Bemmerer, Daniel (HZDR, Dresden) et al.
Classical novae are thermonuclear explosions in stellar binary systems, and important sources of $^{26}$Al and $^{22}$Na. While gamma rays from the decay of the former radioisotope have been observed throughout the Galaxy, $^{22}$Na remains untraceable. [...]

The lifetimes of the low-lying excited states $2^+$ and $4^+$ have been directly measured in the neutron-deficient $^{106,108}$Sn isotopes. The nuclei were populated via a deep-inelastic reaction and the lifetime measurement was performed employing a differential plunger device. [...]

The excited states of unstable $^{20}$O were investigated via $\gamma$-ray spectroscopy following the $^{19}$O$(d,p)^{20}$O reaction at 8 $A$MeV. By exploiting the Doppler Shift Attenuation Method, the lifetime of the 2$^+_2$ and 3$^+_1$ states were firmly established. [...]

(GANIL) ; Ralet, D. (CSNSM, Orsay) et al.
The low-lying excited states in the neutron-deficient $N=Z+1$ nucleus $^{87}_{43}$Tc$^{\ }_{44}$ have been studied via the fusion-evaporation reaction $^{54}$Fe($^{36}$Ar, $2n1p$)$^{87}$Tc at the Grand Accélérateur National d'Ions Lourds (GANIL), France. The AGATA spectrometer was used in conjunction with the auxiliary NEDA, Neutron Wall, and DIAMANT detector arrays to measure coincident prompt $\gamma$-rays, neutrons, and charged particles emitted in the reaction. Testing ab initio nuclear structure in neutron-rich nuclei: lifetime measurements of second 2$^+$ states in $^{16}$C and $^{20}$O / Ciemala, M. (Cracow, INP) ; Ziliani, S. (INFN, Milan) ; Bracco, A. (Milan U. ; INFN, Milan) ; Boiano, C. (INFN, Milan) et al.
To test the predictive power of ab initio nuclear structure theory, the lifetime of the second 2+ state in neutron-rich 20O, tau(2+_2 ) = 150(+80-30) fs, and an estimate for the lifetime of the second 2+ state in 16C have been obtained, for the first time. The results were achieved via a novel Monte Carlo technique that allowed us to measure nuclear state lifetimes in the tens-to-hundreds femtoseconds range, by analyzing the Doppler-shifted gamma-transition line shapes of products of low-energy transfer and deep-inelastic processes in the reaction 18O (7.0 MeV/u) + 181Ta. The neutron-rich $^{122-131}$Sb isotopes were produced as fission fragments in the reaction $^{9}$Be($^{238}$U,~f) with 6.2 MeV/u beam energy. An unique setup, consisting of AGATA, VAMOS++ and EXOGAM detectors, was used which enabled the prompt-delayed gamma-ray ($\gamma$) spectroscopy of fission fragments in the time range of 100 ns - 200 $\mu$s. Efficient $2^3S$ positronium production by stimulated decay from the $3^3P$ level / AEgIS Collaboration
We investigate experimentally the possibility of enhancing the production of $2^3S$ positronium atoms by driving the $1^3S$-$3^3P$ and $3^3P$-$2^3S$ transitions, overcoming the natural branching ratio limitation of spontaneous decay from $3^3P$ to $2^3S$. The decay of $3^3P$ positronium atoms towards the $2^3S$ level has been effciently stimulated by a 1312.2nm broadband IR laser pulse. [...]
