Hubert Curien, St. Etienne) ; Di Francesca, Diego (CERN) ; Morana, Adriana (Lab. Hubert Curien, St. Etienne) ; Hamzaoui, Hicham El (PhLAM, Villeneuve d'Ascq) ; Ouerdane, Youcef (Lab. Hubert Curien, St. Etienne) ; Capoen, Bruno (PhLAM, Villeneuve d'Ascq) et al.
We evaluate the temperature effect on the X-ray radiation-induced luminescence (RIL) of differently doped silica fibers obtained via the sol-gel route. Previous investigations showed that these optical materials exhibit interesting dosimetry properties, such as very good detection capabilities and linear response over a large range of dose rate. Jet radius dependence of dijet momentum balance and suppression in Pb+Pb collisions at 5.02 TeV with the ATLAS detector / Romero, Anabel (Univ. Illinois at Urbana Champaign (US)) /ATLAS Collaboration
Measurements of jets that traverse the QGP provide insights into the jet energy loss. Considering jets of various radii can help elucidate how the parton energy is transferred to the medium as well as the medium response. [...]

A Time Dependent Angular Analysis of the Rare Decay $\bar{B}^0_s, B^0_s \to \phi(\to K^+K^-)\mu^+\mu^-$ / Smyth, Lauren Sophie (CERN)
This report presents both a time-independent and a time-dependent angular analysis study of the rare decay mode $\bar{B}^0_s, B^0_s \to \phi(\to K^+K^-)\mu^+\mu^-$. [...]

Measurement of $D^0 -\overline{D}^0$ mixing parameters and search for $CP$ violation using $D^0\rightarrow K^+\pi^-$ decays / LHCb Collaboration
A measurement of the time-dependent ratio of the $D^0\rightarrow K^+\pi^-$ to $\overline{D}^0\rightarrow K^+\pi^-$ decay rates is reported. [...]

Reanalyzed EFG temperature dependence for In, Sn, and Tl / Haas, H (Aveiro U. ; CERN) ; Röder, J (Aveiro U. ; CERN)
Existing experimental data of the nuclear quadrupole interaction frequency (ν$_{Q}$) for indium, tin, and thallium as function of temperature are analyzed as a product of the structural contribution multiplied by a Debye-Waller type factor with a system-specific proportionality constant. For the theoretical calculation of the structural effect the WIEN2k code is applied using the mostly well-known, but reanalyzed lattice parameters as function of temperature. [...]

EFG temperature dependence in iodine and zinc–the message of two forgotten experiments / Haas, H (Aveiro U. ; CERN)
The electric-field gradient (EFG) for the simple halogen solids, according to the original Bayer theory, should have a continuous, quantitatively understood, decrease with temperature due to the vibrational motion of the molecules. In fact, the data for solid chlorine reproduce this prediction extremely well. [...]

Characterisation of SiC Varistors at Ambient and Elevated Temperatures for Protection of Superconducting Magnets / Galvin, T ; Lampasi, A (ENEA, Frascati) ; Zito, P (ENEA, Frascati) ; Coll, D ; Kirby, G (CERN)
High-energy varistors comprised of a silicon carbide (SiC) composite material have been used as an alternative to linear dump resistors for quench protection/energy extraction for superconducting magnets. However, characterisation work is required for accurate simulations, in particular at elevated temperatures. [...]

Evaluation of the Parallel-Scheme Varistors as Energy-Extraction System for a Test Facility of Superconducting Accelerator Magnet / Suzuki, K (KEK, Tsukuba) ; Ikemoto, Y (KEK, Tsukuba) ; Nakamoto, T (KEK, Tsukuba) ; Ogitsu, T (KEK, Tsukuba) ; Okada, N (KEK, Tsukuba) ; Sugano, M (KEK, Tsukuba) ; Kirby, G (CERN) ; Galvin, T (Unlisted, GB)
A varistor is a non-linear V - I resistor and its feature helps to extract stored energy of the magnet quickly while suppressing the magnet voltage. High Energy Accelerator Research Organization (KEK) decided to install the varistor for the test facility in order to conduct quench training of a superconducting magnet safely. [...]

Towards Ultra-Thin Detector Magnet Designs by Insulating Coil Windings With V$_2$0$_3$-Epoxy Composite / Vaskuri, Anna (CERN) ; Curé, Benoit (CERN) ; Dudarev, Alexey (CERN) ; Mentink, Matthias (CERN) ; Pfeiffer, Stephan (CERN) ; Teissandier, Benoit (CERN)
We have measured temperature dependent resistivity of two types of vanadium oxide (V 2 O 3 ) epoxy composites from 77 K to room temperature. Such a composite could be used as an insulating layer between the windings of a superconducting magnet. [...]
