Moduli and Kähler potential in fermionic strings / Lopez, Jorge L. (Texas A-M ; HARC, Woodlands) ; Nanopoulos, Dimitri V. (Texas A-M ; HARC, Woodlands ; CERN) ; Yuan, Ka-Jia (Texas A-M ; HARC, Woodlands)
We study the problem of identifying the moduli fields in fermionic four-dimensional string models. We deform a free-fermionic model by introducing exactly marginal operators in the form of Abelian Thirring interactions on the world-sheet, and show that their couplings correspond to the untwisted moduli fields. Scrutinizing supergravity models through neutrino telescopes / Gandhi, Raj (Texas A-M ; HARC, Woodlands) ; Lopez, Jorge L. (Texas A-M ; HARC, Woodlands) ; Nanopoulos, Dimitri V. (Texas A-M ; HARC, Woodlands ; CERN) ; Yuan, Ka-jia (Texas A-M ; HARC, Woodlands) ; Zichichi, A. (CERN)
Galactic halo neutralinos ($\chi$) captured by the Sun or Earth produce high-energy neutrinos as end-products of various annihilation modes. These neutrinos can travel from the Sun or Earth cores to the neighborhood of underground detectors (``neutrino telescopes") where they can interact and produce upwardly-moving muons. [...]

New constraints on neutralino dark matter in the supersymmetric standard model / Kelley, S. (Texas A-M ; HARC, Woodlands) ; Lopez, Jorge L. (Texas A-M ; HARC, Woodlands) ; Nanopoulos, Dimitri V. (Texas A-M ; HARC, Woodlands ; CERN) ; Pois, H. (Texas A-M ; HARC, Woodlands) ; Yuan, Ka-jia (Alabama U.)
We investigate the prospects for neutralino dark matter within the Supersymmetric Standard Model (SSM) including the constraints from universal soft supersymmetry breaking and radiative breaking of the electroweak symmetry. The latter is enforced by using the one-loop Higgs effective potential which automatically gives the one-loop corrected Higgs boson masses. [...]

Aspects of radiative electroweak breaking in supergravity models / Kelley, S. (Texas A-M ; HARC, Woodlands) ; Lopez, Jorge L. (Texas A-M ; HARC, Woodlands) ; Nanopoulos, Dimitri V. (Texas A-M ; HARC, Woodlands ; CERN) ; Pois, H. (Texas A-M ; HARC, Woodlands) ; Yuan, Ka-jia (Alabama U.)
We discuss several aspects of state-of-the-art calculations of radiative electroweak symmetry breaking in supergravity models. These models have a five-dimensional parameter space in contrast with the 21-dimensional one of the MSSM. [...]
