/ Belloni, Alberto (Maryland U.) ; Freitas, Ayres (Pittsburgh U.) ; Tian, Junping (Tokyo U., ICEPP) ; Alcaraz Maestre, Juan (Madrid, CIEMAT) ; Apyan, Aram (Brandeis U.) ; Azartash-Namin, Bianca (Oklahoma U.) ; Azzurri, Paolo (INFN, Pisa) ; Banerjee, Swagato (Louisville U.) ; Beyer, Jakob (DESY) ; Bhattacharya, Saptaparna (Northwestern U.) et al.
The precise measurement of physics observables and the test of their consistency within the standard model (SM) are an invaluable approach, complemented by direct searches for new particles, to determine the existence of physics beyond the standard model (BSM). [...]

LHC EFT WG Report: Experimental Measurements and Observables
/ Castro, Nuno (LIP - Laboratorio de Instrumentação e Física Experimental de Partículas (PT)) ; Cranmer, Kyle Stuart (New York University (US)) ; Gritsan, Andrei (Johns Hopkins University (US)) ; Howarth, James William (University of Glasgow (GB)) ; Magni, Giacomo (Nikhef) ; Mimasu, Ken (King's College London) ; Rojo Chacon, Juan (CERN) ; Roskes, Jeffrey (Johns Hopkins University (US)) ; Vryonidou, Eleni (University of Manchester (GB)) ; You, Tiann-Tevong (CERN)
The LHC effective field theory working group gathers members of the LHC experiments and the theory community to provide a framework for the interpretation of LHC data in the context of EFT. In this note we discuss experimental observables and corresponding measurements in analysis of the Higgs, top, and electroweak data at the LHC [...]

Off-shell Higgs Interpretations Task Force : Models and Effective Field Theories Subgroup Report
/ Azatov, Aleksandr (SISSA, Trieste ; INFN, Trieste) ; Falkowski, Adam (U. Paris-Saclay ; CNRS, France ; Paris, IN2P3 ; IJCLab, Orsay) ; Gritsan, Andrei V. (Johns Hopkins U.) ; Grojean, Christophe (DESY ; Humboldt U., Berlin) ; Kauer, Nikolas (Royal Holloway, U. of London) ; Salvioni, Ennio (Padua U. ; INFN, Padua) ; Thomas, Marion (Manchester U.) ; Vryonidou, Eleni (Manchester U.) ; Kang, Lucas (Johns Hopkins U.) ; de Blas, Jorge (CAFPE, Granada) et al.
This report presents the results of the Models and Effective Field Theories Subgroup of the Off-Shell Interpretations Task Force in the LHC Higgs Working Group. The main goal of the subgroup was to discuss and advance the potential impact of off-shell Higgs measurements on searches for BSM physics carried out in the EFT framework or as benchmark model studies. Model-independent approach for incorporating interference effects in collider searches for new resonances
/ Frixione, Stefano (INFN, Genoa) ; Roos, Lydia (Paris U., VI-VII) ; Ting, Edmund (ARC, CoEPP, Australia ; Adelaide U., Sch. Chem. Phys.) ; Vryonidou, Eleni (CERN) ; White, Martin (ARC, CoEPP, Australia ; Adelaide U., Sch. Chem. Phys.) ; Williams, Anthony G. (ARC, CoEPP, Australia ; Adelaide U., Sch. Chem. Phys.)
The presence of large-mass resonances in the data collected at the Large Hadron Collider would provide direct evidence of physics beyond the Standard Model. A key challenge in current resonance searches at the LHC is the modelling of signal--background interference effects, which can severely distort the shape of the reconstructed invariant mass distribution relative to the case where there is no interference. NLO QCD+EW predictions for $tHj$ and $tZj$ production at the LHC
/ Pagani, Davide (DESY) ; Tsinikos, Ioannis (Lund U., Dept. Theor. Phys.) ; Vryonidou, Eleni (CERN)
In this work we calculate the cross sections for the hadroproduction of a single top quark or antiquark in association with a Higgs ($tHj$) or $Z$ boson ($tZj$) at NLO QCD+EW accuracy. In the case of $tZj$ production we consider both the case of the $Z$ boson undecayed and the complete final state $t \ell^+ \ell^- j$, including off-shell and non-resonant effects. [...]
