Transfer reactions induced with $^{56}$Ni: shell gaps and np pairing
/ Georgiadou, A (Orsay, IPN ; U. Paris-Sud 11, Dept. Phys., Orsay ; Paris, IN2P3) ; Assié, M (Orsay, IPN ; Paris, IN2P3) ; Blumenfeld, Y ; Crom, B Le ; Guillot, J ; Flavigny, F ; Achouri, L ; Aouadi, M ; Bastin, B ; Benitez, A et al.
The structure of the unstable doubly magic nucleus $^{56}$Ni has been investigated by measuring one-and two-nucleon transfer reactions. The radioactive beam of $^{56}$Ni was produced at GANIL-Caen, France at 30 MeV/u by means of the LISE spectrometer. [...]

Metal-core pad-plane development for ACTAR TPC
/ Giovinazzo, J (CENBG, Gradignan) ; Pibernat, J (CENBG, Gradignan) ; Goigoux, T (CENBG, Gradignan) ; de Oliveira, R (CERN) ; Grinyer, G F (Regina U. ; GANIL) ; Huss, C (CENBG, Gradignan) ; Mauss, B (GANIL) ; Pancin, J (GANIL) ; Pedroza, J L (CENBG, Gradignan) ; Rebii, A (CENBG, Gradignan) et al.
With the recent development of active targets and time projection chambers (ACTAR TPC) as detectors for fundamental nuclear physics experiments, the need arose for charge collection planes with a high density of readout channels. In order to fulfill the mechanical constraints for the ACTAR TPC device, we designed a pad-plane based on a metal-core circuit with an conceptually simple design and routing for signal readout, named FAKIR (in reference to a fakir bed of nails). Dissemination of data measured at the CERN n_TOF facility
/ Dupont, E (IRFU, Saclay) ; Otuka, N ; Cabellos, O ; Aberle, O (CERN) ; Aerts, G ; Altstadt, S ; Alvarez, H ; Alvarez-Velarde, F ; Andriamonje, S ; Andrzejewski, J et al.
/n_TOF
The n_TOF neutron time-of-flight facility at CERN is used for high quality nuclear data measurements from thermal energy up to hundreds of MeV. In line with the CERN open data policy, the n_TOF Collaboration takes actions to preserve its unique data, facilitate access to them in standardised format, and allow their re-use by a wide community in the fields of nuclear physics, nuclear astrophysics and various nuclear technologies. Neutron-induced fission cross section of Np237 in the keV to MeV range at the CERN n_TOF facility
/ Diakaki, M ; Karadimos, D ; Vlastou, R ; Kokkoris, M ; Demetriou, P ; Skordis, E ; Tsinganis, A ; Abbondanno, U ; Aerts, G ; Álvarez, H et al.
The neutron-induced fission cross section of Np237 was experimentally determined at the high-resolution and high-intensity facility n_TOF, at CERN, in the energy range 100 keV to 9 MeV, using the U235(n,f) and U238(n,f) cross section standards below and above 2 MeV, respectively. A fast ionization chamber was used in order to detect the fission fragments from the reactions and the targets were characterized as far as their mass and homogeneity are concerned by means of α spectroscopy and Rutherford backscattering spectroscopy respectively. $^{12}$C+p resonant elastic scattering in the Maya active target
/ Sambi, S (KU Leuven, Dept. Phys. Astron.) ; Raabe, R ; Borge, M J G (CERN) ; Caamano, M ; Damoy, S (GANIL) ; Fernández-Domínguez, B ; Flavigny, F ; Fynbo, H ; Gibelin, J (Caen U.) ; Grinyer, G F (GANIL) et al.
In a proof-of-principle measurement, the Maya active target detector was employed for a$^{12}$C(p, p) resonant elastic scattering experiment in inverse kinematics. The excitation energy region from 0 to 3MeV above the proton breakup threshold in$^{13}$N was investigated in a single measurement. [...]

A Micromegas Detector for Neutron Beam Imaging at the n_TOF Facility at CERN

Micromegas (Micro-MEsh Gaseous Structure) detectors are gas detectors consisting of a stack of one ionization and one proportional chamber. A micromesh separates the two communicating regions, where two different electric fields establish respectively a charge drift and a charge multiplication regime. [...]

We present the analysis of the resolved resonance region for the U-234(n,f) cross section data measured at the CERN n\_TOF facility. The resonance parameters in the energy range from 1 eV to 1500 eV have been obtained with the SAMMY code by using as initial parameters for the fit the resonance parameters of the JENDL-3.3 evaluation. The neutron-induced fission cross section of U234 has been measured at the CERN n_TOF facility relative to the standard fission cross section of U235 from 20 keV to 1.4 MeV and of U238 from 1.4 to 200 MeV. A fast ionization chamber (FIC) was used as a fission fragment detector with a detection efficiency of no less than 97%. [...]

/n_TOF
The neutron time of flight (n_TOF) facility at CERN is a spallation neutron source with white neutron energy spectrum (from thermal to several GeV), covering the full energy range of interest for nuclear astrophysics, in particular for measurement s of the neutron capture cross section required in s-process nucleosynthesis. This contribution presents an overview on the astrophysical program carried on at the n_TOF facility, the main results and their implications..
