Precision studies of the Cabibbo-Kobayashi-Maskawa matrix offer a very important testbed of the Standard Model (SM).In light of new inputs and measurements, in this proceeding we review the status of the Unitarity Triangle as a fundamental tool to uncover New Physics. We report the results of the latest SM global fits performed by the UTfit Collaboration including all the up-to-date experimental and theoretical inputs as for the Summer 2023 release. We also update the stringent constraints on New Physics from the generalized $|\Delta F| = 2$ effective Hamiltonian. Advancements in experimental techniques for measuring dipole moments of short-lived particles at the LHC
/ Neri, N (INFN, Milan ; Milan U. ; CERN) ; Akiba, K (NIKHEF, Amsterdam) ; Alessio, F (CERN) ; Bandiera, L (INFN, Ferrara) ; Benettoni, M (INFN, Padua ; Padua U.) ; Cai, R (CERN) ; Cardinale, R (Genoa U.) ; Cesare, S (INFN, Milan ; Milan U.) ; Citterio, M (INFN, Milan ; Milan U.) ; Coco, V (CERN) et al.
ALADDIN is a proposed fixed-target experiment at the LHC for the direct measurement of charm baryon dipole moments. The detector features a spectrometer and a Cherenkov detector, while the experimental technique is based on the phenomena of particle channelling and spin precession in bent crystals. [...]

Stable 500 kW average power of infrared light in a finesse 35 000 enhancement cavity
/ Lu, X -Y (IJCLab, Orsay ; Tsinghua U., Beijing, Dept. Eng. Phys.) ; Chiche, R (IJCLab, Orsay) ; Dupraz, K (IJCLab, Orsay) ; Johora, F (IJCLab, Orsay) ; Martens, A (IJCLab, Orsay) ; Nutarelli, D (IJCLab, Orsay) ; Peinaud, Y (IJCLab, Orsay) ; Soskov, V (IJCLab, Orsay) ; Stocchi, A (IJCLab, Orsay) ; Zomer, F (IJCLab, Orsay) et al.
Advances in laser technology over the past 25 years have been impressive, in particular, for the Ytterbium technology where, nowadays, kilowatt-class laser systems are available. This technology also led to the possibility to provide hundreds of kilowatts of laser power by the use of enhancement cavities. [...]

Powerful ERL for experiments (PERLE) is a novel energy recovery linac (ERL) test facility [1], designed to validate choices for a 50 GeV ERL foreseen in the design of the Large Hadron Electron Collider and the Future Circular Collider and to host dedicated nuclear and particle physics experiments. Its main goal is to demonstrate the high current, continuous wave, multipass operation with superconducting cavities at 802 MHz. [...]

Dechanneling of high energy particles in a long bent crystal
/ Scandale, W (CERN) ; Arduini, G (CERN) ; Cerutti, F (CERN) ; Garattini, M (CERN ; Imperial Coll., London) ; Gilardoni, S (CERN) ; Lechner, A (CERN) ; Losito, R (CERN) ; Masi, A (CERN) ; Mirarchi, D (CERN) ; Montesano, S (CERN) et al.
Experimental results on deflection of a 180 GeV/c $\pi^+$-meson beam by a 23 mm long bent silicon crystal are
analyzed to study the dechanneling process of particles due to multiple scattering. A new approach for the
determination of contributions from atomic nuclei and electrons to the multiple scattering using the experimental data for random crystal orientations is suggested. [...]

Multiple scattering of channeled and non-channeled positively charged particles in bent monocrystalline silicon
/ Scandale, W. (CERN) ; Arduini, G. (CERN) ; Cerutti, F. (CERN) ; Esposito, L.S. (CERN) ; Garattini, M. (CERN) ; Gilardoni, S. (CERN) ; Losito, R. (CERN) ; Masi, A. (CERN) ; Mirarchi, D. (CERN) ; Montesano, S. (CERN) et al.
We present the results of an experimental study of multiple scattering of positively charged high energy particles in bent samples of monocrystalline silicon. This work confirms the recently discovered effect of a strong reduction in the rms multiple scattering angle of particles channeled in the silicon (111) plane. [...]

Feasibility of $\tau$ -lepton electromagnetic dipole moments measurement using bent crystal at the LHC
/ Fomin, A.S. (Kharkov, KIPT ; CERN) ; Korchin, A. Yu (Kharkov, KIPT ; Kharkov Natl. U.) ; Stocchi, A. (Orsay, LAL) ; Barsuk, S. (Orsay, LAL) ; Robbe, P. (Orsay, LAL)
In this paper we discuss the possibility of measuring the anomalous magnetic and electric dipole moments of the $\tau$ lepton. The method consists in studying the spin precession induced by the strong effective magnetic field inside channels of a bent crystal with a dedicated setup at the CERN Large Hadron Collider..
