Functionality and performance of the ALFA_CTPIN module / Iwanski, Wieslaw (Innsbruck U. ; CERN) ; Jakobsen, Sune (CERN) ; Korcyl, Krzysztof (Cracow, INP) ; Oechsle, Jan (U. Copenhagen (main))
The ALFA_CTPIN module has been designed in response to increased internal processing time of the Central Trigger Processor (CTP) of the ATLAS experiment which resulted in reducing time left to the ALFA detector to deliver its own triggers to the CTP within specified latency. Accelerated extraction of ALFA triggers from encoded signals and the possibility to perform local triggers processing by this module allowed ALFA to contribute to global triggering of the ATLAS detector. Bose-Einstein correlations between identified charged pions are measured for $p$+Pb collisions at $\sqrt{s_{\mathrm{NN}}}=5.02$ TeV using data recorded by the ATLAS detector at the LHC corresponding to a total integrated luminosity of $28~\mathrm{nb}^{-1}$. Pions are identified using ionization energy loss measured in the pixel detector. [...]

Measurements of the production cross section of a $Z$ boson in association with jets in pp collisions at $\sqrt{s} = 13$ TeV with the ATLAS detector / ATLAS Collaboration
Measurements of the production cross section of a $Z$ boson in association with jets in proton-proton collisions at $\sqrt{s} = 13$ TeV are presented, using data corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 3.16 fb$^{-1}$ collected by the ATLAS experiment at the CERN Large Hadron Collider in 2015. Inclusive and differential cross sections are measured for events containing a $Z$ boson decaying to electrons or muons and produced in association with up to seven jets with $p_T > 30$ GeV and $|y| <2.5$. Measurement of the $W^+W^-$ production cross section in $pp$ collisions at a centre-of-mass energy of $\sqrt{s}$ = 13 TeV with the ATLAS experiment / ATLAS Collaboration
The production of opposite-charge $W$-boson pairs in proton-proton collisions at $\sqrt{s}$ = 13 TeV is measured using data corresponding to 3.16 fb$^{-1}$ of integrated luminosity collected by the ATLAS detector at the CERN Large Hadron Collider in 2015. Candidate $W$-boson pairs are selected by identifying their leptonic decays into an electron, a muon and neutrinos. [...]

Measurement of the cross-section for producing a $W$ boson in association with a single top quark in $pp$ collisions at $\sqrt{s}={13} \text{TeV}$ with ATLAS / ATLAS Collaboration
The inclusive cross-section for the associated production of a $W$ boson and top quark is measured using data from proton-proton collisions at $\sqrt{s}={13}$ TeV. The dataset corresponds to an integrated luminosity of 3.2 fb$^{-1}$, and was collected in 2015 by the ATLAS detector at the Large Hadron Collider at CERN. [...]

Measurements of top-quark pair differential cross-sections in the $e\mu$ channel in $pp$ collisions at $\sqrt{s} = 13$ TeV using the ATLAS detector / ATLAS Collaboration
This article presents measurements of $t\bar{t}$ differential cross-sections in a fiducial phase-space region, using an integrated luminosity of 3.2 fb$^{-1}$ of proton--proton data at a centre-of-mass energy of $\sqrt{s} = 13$ TeV recorded by the ATLAS experiment at the LHC in 2015. Differential cross-sections are measured as a function of the transverse momentum and absolute rapidity of the top quark, and of the transverse momentum, absolute rapidity and invariant mass of the $t\bar{t}$ system. Measurement of the prompt $J/\psi$ pair production cross-section in pp collisions at $\sqrt{s} = 8$ TeV with the ATLAS detector / ATLAS Collaboration
The production of two prompt $J/\psi$ mesons, each with transverse momenta $p_{\mathrm{T}}>8.5$ GeV and rapidity $|y| < 2.1$, is studied using a sample of proton-proton collisions at $\sqrt{s} = 8$ TeV, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 11.4 fb$^{-1}$ collected in 2012 with the ATLAS detector at the LHC. The differential cross-section, assuming unpolarised $J/\psi$ production, is measured as a function of the transverse momentum of the lower-$p_{\mathrm{T}}$ $J/\psi$ meson, di-$J/\psi$ $p_{\mathrm{T}}$ and mass, the difference in rapidity between the two $J/\psi$ mesons, and the azimuthal angle between the two $J/\psi$ mesons.
