ALICE HLT TPC tracking of Pb-Pb Events on GPUs / Rohr, David (Frankfurt U.) ; Gorbunov, Sergey (Frankfurt U.) ; Szostak, Artur (Bergen U.) ; Kretz, Matthias (Frankfurt U.) ; Kollegger, Thorsten (Frankfurt U.) ; Breitner, Timo (Frankfurt U.) ; Alt, Torsten (Frankfurt U.) /ALICE HLT Collaboration
The online event reconstruction for the ALICE experiment at CERN requires processing capabilities to process central Pb-Pb collisions at a rate of more than 200 Hz, corresponding to an input data rate of about 25 GB/s. The reconstruction of particle trajectories in the Time Projection Chamber (TPC) is the most compute intensive step. [...]

Fast TPC Online Tracking on GPUs and Asynchronous Data Processing in the ALICE HLT to facilitate Online Calibration / Rohr, David (Frankfurt U., FIAS) ; Gorbunov, Sergey (Frankfurt U., FIAS) ; Krzewicki, Mikolaj (Frankfurt U., FIAS) ; Breitner, Timo (Frankfurt U., FIAS) ; Kretz, Matthias (Frankfurt U., FIAS) ; Lindenstruth, Volker (Frankfurt U., FIAS) /Volker Lindenstruth for the ALICE Collaboration
ALICE (A Large Heavy Ion Experiment) is one of the four major experiments at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) at CERN, which is today the most powerful particle accelerator worldwide. The High Level Trigger (HLT) is an online compute farm of about 200 nodes, which reconstructs events measured by the ALICE detector in real-time. [...]

Measurement of D-meson production versus multiplicity in p-Pb collisions at $\sqrt{s_{\rm NN}}=5.02$ TeV / ALICE Collaboration
The measurement of prompt D-meson production as a function of multiplicity in p–Pb collisions at $\sqrt{s_{\rm NN}}=5.02$ TeV with the ALICE detector at the LHC is reported. D$^0$, D$^+$ and D$^{*+}$ mesons are reconstructed via their hadronic decay channels in the centre-of-mass rapidity range $-0.96 < y_{\rm cms} < 0.04$ and transverse momentum interval $1 < p_{\rm T}<24$ GeV/c. Production of K$^{*}$(892)$^{0}$ and $\phi$(1020) in p-Pb collisions at $\sqrt{s_{\mathrm{NN}}}$ = 5.02 TeV / ALICE Collaboration
The production of K$^{*}$(892)$^{0}$ and $\phi$(1020) mesons has been measured in p-Pb collisions at $\sqrt{s_{\mathrm{NN}}}$ = 5.02 TeV. K$^{*0}$ and $\phi$ are reconstructed via their decay into charged hadrons with the ALICE detector in the rapidity range $-0.5 < y <0$. [...]

Multiplicity dependence of charged pion, kaon, and (anti)proton production at large transverse momentum in p-Pb collisions at $\sqrt{s_{\rm NN}}$= 5.02 TeV / ALICE Collaboration
The production of charged pions, kaons and (anti)protons has been measured at mid-rapidity ($-0.5 < y < 0$) in p-Pb collisions at $\sqrt{s_{\rm NN}} = 5.02$ TeV using the ALICE detector at the LHC. Exploiting particle identification capabilities at high transverse momentum ($p_{\rm T}$), the previously published $p_{\rm T}$ spectra have been extended to include measurements up to 20 GeV/$c$ for seven multiplicity event classes. Multipion Bose-Einstein correlations in $pp$, $p$-Pb, and Pb-Pb collisions at energies available at the CERN Large Hadron Collider / ALICE Collaboration
Three- and four-pion Bose-Einstein correlations are presented in pp, p-Pb, and Pb-Pb collisions at the LHC. We compare our measured four-pion correlations to the expectation derived from two- and three-pion measurements. [...]

Multi-strange baryon production in p-Pb collisions at $\sqrt{s_\mathbf{NN}}=5.02$ TeV / ALICE Collaboration
The multi-strange baryon yields in Pb--Pb collisions have been shown to exhibit an enhancement relative to pp reactions. In this work, $\Xi$ and $\Omega$ production rates have been measured with the ALICE experiment as a function of transverse momentum, ${p_{\rm T}}$, in p-Pb collisions at a centre-of-mass energy of ${\sqrt{s_{\rm NN}}}$ = 5.02 TeV. Centrality Dependence of the Charged-Particle Multiplicity Density at Midrapidity in Pb-Pb Collisions at $\sqrt{s_{\rm NN}}$ = 5.02 TeV / ALICE Collaboration
The pseudorapidity density of charged particles ($\mathrm{d}N_\mathrm{ch}/\mathrm{d}\eta$) at mid-rapidity in Pb-Pb collisions has been measured at a center-of-mass energy per nucleon pair of $\sqrt{s_{\rm NN}}$ = 5.02 TeV. It increases with centrality and reaches a value of $1943 \pm 54$ in $|\eta|<0.5$ for the 5% most central collisions. [...]

Charge-dependent flow and the search for the chiral magnetic wave in Pb-Pb collisions at $\sqrt{s_{\rm NN}}$ = 2.76 TeV / ALICE Collaboration
We report on measurements of a charge-dependent flow using a novel three-particle correlator with ALICE in Pb–Pb collisions at the LHC, and discuss the implications for observation of local parity violation and the Chiral Magnetic Wave (CMW) in heavy-ion collisions. Charge-dependent flow is reported for different collision centralities as a function of the event charge asymmetry. [...]

Pseudorapidity and transverse-momentum distributions of charged particles in proton-proton collisions at $\mathbf{\sqrt{\textit s}}$ = 13 TeV / ALICE Collaboration
The pseudorapidity ($\eta$) and transverse-momentum ($p_{\rm T}$) distributions of charged particles produced in proton-proton collisions are measured at the centre-of-mass energy $\sqrt{s}$ = 13 TeV. The pseudorapidity distribution in $|\eta|<$ 1.8 is reported for inelastic events and for events with at least one charged particle in $|\eta|<$ 1. [...]
