U.) ; Bastin, B (KU Leuven, FET) ; Bauer, C (Darmstadt, Tech. U.) ; Bernards, C (Yale U.) ; Bettermann, L (Cologne U.) et al.
We report on the study of excited states in $^{92,94,96}Kr$ populated via projectile Coulomb excitation at safe energies. The radioactive ion beams at energies of 2.85 MeV/u were delivered by the REX-ISOLDE facility at CERN and impinged on self-supporting $^{194,196}Pt$ targets. [...]

Electromagnetic properties of low-lying states in neutron-deficient Hg isotopes: Coulomb excitation of $^{182}$Hg, $^{184}$Hg, $^{186}$Hg and $^{188}$Hg / Wrzosek-Lipska, K (Warsaw U., Heavy Ion Lab ; Leuven U.) ; Rezynkina, K (Leuven U. ; U. Strasbourg) ; Bree, N (Leuven U.) ; Zielińska, M (Warsaw U., Heavy Ion Lab ; IRFU, Saclay) ; Gaffney, L P (Liverpool U. ; Leuven U. ; CERN ; West Scotland U.) ; Petts, A (Liverpool U.) ; Andreyev, A (Leuven U. ; York U., England) ; Bastin, B (Leuven U. ; GANIL) ; Bender, M (Lyon, IPN) ; Blazhev, A (Cologne U.) et al.
The neutron-deficient mercury isotopes serve as a classical example of shape coexistence, whereby at low energy near-degenerate nuclear states characterized by different shapes appear. The electromagnetic structure of even-mass $^{182-188}$ Hg isotopes was studied using safe-energy Coulomb excitation of neutron-deficient mercury beams delivered by the REX-ISOLDE facility at CERN. Coulomb excitation of (31)Mg / Seidlitz, M ; Mucher, D ; Reiter, P ; Bildstein, V ; Blazhev, A ; Bree, N ; Bruyneel, B ; Cederkall, J ; Clement, E ; Davinson, T et al. /MINIBALL ; REX-ISOLDE
The ground state properties of 31 Mg indicate a change of nuclear shape at N=19 with a deformed Jπ=1/2+ intruder state as a ground state, implying that 31 Mg is part of the “island of inversion”. The collective properties of excited states were the subject of a Coulomb excitation experiment at REX-ISOLDE, CERN, employing a radioactive 31 Mg beam. [...]

Study of bound states in $^{10}Be$ by one neutron removal reactions of $^{11}Be$ / Johansen, Jacob G (Aarhus U.) ; Bildstein, V (Munich, Tech. U.) ; Borge, M J G (CERN ; Madrid, Inst. The bound states of (10)Be have been studied by removing single neutrons from $^{11}Be$ nuclei. A 2.8 MeV $u^{–1}$ beam of $^{11}Be$was produced at ISOLDE, CERN and directed on to both proton and deuteron targets inducing one-neutron removal reactions. [...]

Single-neutron states in the Z=30 , N=49 isotope 79 Zn have been populated using the 78 Zn(d, p) 79 Zn transfer reaction at REX-ISOLDE, CERN. The experimental setup allowed the combined detection of protons ejected in the reaction, and of γ rays emitted by 79 Zn. [...]

Coulomb-excitation experiments to study electromagnetic properties of radioactive even-even Hg isotopes were performed with 2.85  MeV/nucleon mercury beams from REX-ISOLDE. The quasi-SU(3) sequence of the positive parity $νg_{9/2}, d_{5/2}, s_{1/2}$ orbitals above the N=40 shell gap are assumed to induce strong quadrupole collectivity in the neutron-rich Fe (Z=26) and Cr (Z=24) isotopes below the nickel region. In this paper the position and strength of these single-particle orbitals are characterized in the neighborhood of $^{68}$Ni (Z=28,N=40) through the $^{66}$Ni($d,p$)$^{67}$Ni one-neutron transfer reaction at 2.95 MeV/nucleon in inverse kinematics, performed at the REX-ISOLDE facility in CERN.
