We report on the study of excited states in $^{92,94,96}Kr$ populated via projectile Coulomb excitation at safe energies. The radioactive ion beams at energies of 2.85 MeV/u were delivered by the REX-ISOLDE facility at CERN and impinged on self-supporting $^{194,196}Pt$ targets. [...]

Evidence for a smooth onset of deformation in the neutron-rich Kr isotopes / REX-ISOLDE Collaboration
The neutron-rich nuclei $^{94,96}$Kr were studied via projectile Coulomb excitation at the REX-ISOLDE facility at CERN. Level energies of the first excited 2$^{+}$ states and their absolute $E2$ transition strengths to the ground state are determined and discussed in the context of the $E(2^{+}_{1})$ and $B(E2;2^{+}_{1} \rightarrow 0^{+}_{1})$ systematics of the krypton chain. Four different combinations of $^{96}_{44}$Ru and $^{96}_{40}$Zr nuclei, both as projectile and target, were investigated at the same bombarding energy of 400$A$ MeV using a $4 \pi$ detector. The degree of isospin mixing between projectile and target nucleons is mapped across a large portion of the phase space using two different isospin-tracer observables, the number of measured protons and the ${\rm t}/^{3}{\rm He}$ yield ratio.
