RD53A is a large scale 65 nm CMOS pixel demonstrator chip that has been developed by the RD53 collaboration for very high rate (3 GHz/cm$^2$) and very high radiation levels (500 Mrad, possibly 1 Grad) for ATLAS and CMS phase 2 upgrades. It features serial powering operation and design variations in the analog and digital pixel matrix for different testing purposes. [...]

A 12bits 40MSPS SAR ADC with a redundancy algorithm and digital calibration for the ATLAS LArg calorimeter readout / Zeloufi, Mohamed (Laboratoire de Physique Subatomique et de Cosmologie de Grenoble (LPSC)) ; Dzahini, Daniel (Laboratoire de Physique Subatomique et de Cosmologie de Grenoble (LPSC)) ; Rarbi, Fatah-ellah (Laboratoire de Physique Subatomique et de Cosmologie de Grenoble (LPSC))
This paper presents a SAR ADC with a generalized redundant search algorithm offering the flexibility to relax the requirements on the DAC settling time. The redundancy allows also a digital background calibration, based on a code density analysis, to compensate the capacitors mismatching effects. [...]

Prototype ATLAS IBL Modules using the FE-I4A Front-End Readout Chip / ATLAS IBL Collaboration
The ATLAS Collaboration will upgrade its semiconductor pixel tracking detector with a new Insertable B-layer (IBL) between the existing pixel detector and the vacuum pipe of the Large Hadron Collider. The extreme operating conditions at this location have necessitated the development of new radiation hard pixel sensor technologies and a new front-end readout chip, called the FE-I4. [...]

Search for lepton flavour violation in the $e\mu$ continuum with the ATLAS detector in $\sqrt{s}$ = 7 TeV pp collisions at the LHC / ATLAS Collaboration
This paper presents a search for the t-channel exchange of an R-parity violating scalar top quark ($\tilde{t}$) in the $e^{\pm}\mu^{\pm}$ continuum using 2.1/fb of data collected by the ATLAS detector in $\sqrt{s}$ = 7 TeV pp collisions at the Large Hadron Collider. Data are found to be consistent with the expectation from the Standard Model backgrounds. [...]

Electron performance measurements with the ATLAS detector using the 2010 LHC proton-proton collision data / ATLAS Collaboration
Detailed measurements of the electron performance of the ATLAS detector at the LHC are reported, using decays of the Z, W and J/psi particles. Data collected in 2010 at sqrt(s)=7 TeV are used, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of almost 40 pb^-1. [...]

Performance of the ATLAS Trigger System in 2010 / ATLAS Collaboration
Proton-proton collisions at $\sqrt{s}=7$ TeV and heavy ion collisions at $\sqrt{s_{NN}}$=2.76 TeV were produced by the LHC and recorded using the ATLAS experiment's trigger system in 2010. The LHC is designed with a maximum bunch crossing rate of 40 MHz and the ATLAS trigger system is designed to record approximately 200 of these per second [...]

Measurements of the electron and muon inclusive cross-sections in proton-proton collisions at $\sqrt{s}$ = 7 TeV with the ATLAS detector / ATLAS Collaboration
This letter presents measurements of the differential cross-sections for inclusive electron and muon production in proton-proton collisions at a centre-of-mass energy of sqrt(s) = 7 TeV, using data collected by the ATLAS detector at the LHC. The muon cross-section is measured as a function of pT in the range 4 < pT < 100 GeV and within pseudorapidity |eta| < 2.5. [...]

Measurement of the centrality dependence of the charged particle pseudorapidity distribution in lead-lead collisions at $\sqrt{s_{NN}}$ = 2.76 TeV with the ATLAS detector / ATLAS Collaboration
The ATLAS experiment at the LHC has measured the centrality dependence of charged particle pseudorapidity distributions over |eta| < 2 in lead-lead collisions at a nucleon-nucleon centre-of-mass energy of sqrt(s_NN) = 2.76 TeV. In order to include particles with transverse momentum as low as 30 MeV, the data were recorded with the central solenoid magnet off. [...]
