BDSIM is a program that uses a suite of high energy physics software including Geant4, CLHEP & ROOT, to seamlessly track particles through a 3- dimensional accelerator model utilising the full range of particles and physics processes from Geant4. BDSIM was originally developed to simulate linear colliders such as the International Linear Collider (ILC), but has more recently been extended for application to the Large Hadron Collider (LHC), and generally to storage rings. Tech. ; Fermilab ; Liverpool U. ; NICADD, DeKalb) et al.
The AWAKE Collaboration has been formed in order to demonstrate proton-driven plasma wakefield acceleration for the first time. This acceleration technique could lead to future colliders of high energy but of a much reduced length when compared to proposed linear accelerators. [...]

Beam Delivery Simulation - Recent Developments and Optimization
/ Snuverink, Jochem (Royal Holloway, U. of London) ; Boogert, Stewart Takashi (Royal Holloway, U. of London) ; Garcia-Morales, H (Royal Holloway, U. of London) ; Gibson, Stephen (Royal Holloway, U. of London) ; Kwee-Hinzmann, Regina (Royal Holloway, U. of London) ; Nevay, Laurence James (Royal Holloway, U. of London) ; Deacon, Lawrence Charles (University Coll. London)
Beam Delivery Simulation (BDSIM) is a particle tracking code that simulates the passage of particles through both the magnetic accelerator lattice as well as their interaction with the material of the accelerator itself. The Geant4 toolkit is used to give a full range of physics processes needed to simulate both the interaction of primary particles and the production and subsequent propagation of secondaries. [...]

Beam Delivery Simulation (BDSIM) is a Geant4 and C++ based particle tracking code that seamlessly tracks particles through accelerators and detectors, including the full range of particle interaction physics processes from Geant4. BDSIM has been successfully used to model beam loss and background conditions for many current and future linear accelerators such as the Accelerator Test Facility 2 (ATF2) and the International Linear Collider (ILC). CLIC Luminosity Monitoring
/ Apyan, Armen (CERN ; Northwestern U.) ; Deacon, Lawrence Charles (CERN) ; Gschwendtner, Edda (CERN) ; Lefevre, Thibault (CERN) ; Tygier, Sam (U. Manchester (main) ; Cockcroft Inst. Accel. Sci. Tech.) ; Appleby, Robert B (U. Manchester (main) ; Cockcroft Inst. Accel. Sci. Tech.)
The CLIC post-collision line is designed to transport the un-collided beams and the products of the collided beams with a total power of 14 MW to the main beam dump. Luminosity monitoring for CLIC is based on high energy muons produced by beamstrahlung photons in the main dump. [...]

Updates to the CLIC Post Collision Line
/ Deacon, L C (CERN)
The 1.5 TeV Compact Linear Collider (CLIC) beams, with a total power of 14MWper beam, are disrupted at the interaction point due to the very strong beam-beam effect. The disrupted beam has a power of 10MW. [...]
