Cosmological Consequences of Kinetic Mixing between Photon and Dark PhotonCosmic birefringence by dark photon / Lee, Sung Mook (Yonsei U. ; IPAP, Seoul) ; Kang, Dong Woo (Korea Inst. Advanced Study, Seoul ; CERN) ; Gong, Jinn-Ouk (Ewha Women's U., Seoul ; APCTP, Pohang) ; Jeong, Donghui (Korea Inst. Advanced Study, Seoul ; Penn State U., University Park, IGC) ; Jung, Dong-Won (Yonsei U. ; IPAP, Seoul) ; Park, Seong Chan (Yonsei U. ; IPAP, Seoul ; Korea Inst. Advanced Study, Seoul)
We study the kinetic mixing between the cosmic microwave background (CMB) photon and the birefringent dark photon. These birefringent dark photon may exist in parity-violating dark sector, for example, through the coupling to axion field. [...]

Non-Gaussian bias: insights from discrete density peaks / Desjacques, Vincent (Geneva U., Dept. Theor. Phys. ; Geneva U., CAP) ; Gong, Jinn-Ouk (CERN ; APCTP, Pohang ; POSTECH) ; Riotto, Antonio (Geneva U., Dept. Theor. Phys. ; Geneva U., CAP)
Corrections induced by primordial non-Gaussianity to the linear halo bias can be computed from a peak-background split or the widespread local bias model. However, numerical simulations clearly support the prediction of the former, in which the non-Gaussian amplitude is proportional to the linear halo bias. [...]

Correlating features in the primordial spectra / Achúcarro, Ana (Leiden U. ; Basque U., Bilbao) ; Gong, Jinn-Ouk (CERN ; APCTP, Pohang ; POSTECH) ; Palma, Gonzalo A. (Chile U., Beauchef) ; Patil, Subodh P. (CERN)
Heavy fields coupled to the inflaton reduce the speed of sound in the effective theory of the adiabatic mode each time the background inflationary trajectory deviates from a geodesic. This can result in features in the primordial spectra. [...]

General formula for the running of local fNL / Byrnes, Christian T. (CERN ; Sussex U., Astron. Ctr.) ; Gong, Jinn-Ouk (CERN)
We compute the scale dependence of fNL for models of multi-field inflation, allowing for an arbitrary field space metric. We show that, in addition to multi-field effects and self interactions, the curved field space metric provides another source of scale dependence, which arises from the field-space Riemann curvature tensor and its derivatives. Unifying darko-lepto-genesis with scalar triplet inflation / Arina, Chiara (RWTH Aachen U.) ; Gong, Jinn-Ouk (CERN) ; Sahu, Narendra (Indian Inst. Tech., Hyderabad)
We present a scalar triplet extension of the standard model to unify the origin of inflation with neutrino mass, asymmetric dark matter and leptogenesis. In presence of non-minimal couplings to gravity the scalar triplet, mixed with the standard model Higgs, plays the role of inflaton in the early Universe, while its decay to SM Higgs, lepton and dark matter simultaneously generate an asymmetry in the visible and dark matter sectors. Heavy fields, reduced speeds of sound and decoupling during inflation / Achucarro, Ana (Basque U., Bilbao ; Leiden U.) ; Atal, Vicente (Leiden U.) ; Cespedes, Sebastian (Chile U., Santiago) ; Gong, Jinn-Ouk (CERN) ; Palma, Gonzalo A (Chile U., Santiago) ; Patil, Subodh P (Ecole Polytechnique, CPHT)
We discuss and clarify the validity of effective single field theories of inflation obtained by integrating out heavy degrees of freedom in the regime where adiabatic perturbations propagate with a suppressed speed of sound. We show by construction that it is indeed possible to have inflationary backgrounds where the speed of sound remains suppressed and slow-roll persists for long enough. [...]

Inflation and dark matter in two Higgs doublet models / Gong, Jinn-Ouk (CERN) ; Kang, Sin Kyu (Seoultech, Seoul) ; Lee, Hyun Min (CERN)
We consider the Higgs inflation in the extension of the Standard Model with two Higgs doublets coupled to gravity non-minimally. In the presence of an approximate global U(1) symmetry in the Higgs sector, both radial and angular modes of neutral Higgs bosons drive inflation where large non-Gaussianity is possible from appropriate initial conditions on the angular mode.
