BSM physics using photon-photon fusion processes in UPC in Pb+Pb collisions
with the ATLAS detector / Burka, Klaudia (AGH University of Science and Technology (PL)) /ATLAS Collaboration
Relativistic heavy-ion beams at the LHC are accompanied by a large flux of equivalent photons, leading to multiple photon-induced processes. This talk presents searches for physics beyond the standard model enabled by photon-photon processes in both di-tau and di-photon final states. [...]

Light-by-light scattering in ultra-peripheral Pb+Pb collisions in the ATLAS experiment / Maj, Klaudia (AGH University of Science and Technology, Faculty of Physics and Applied Computer Science, Krakow) /ATLAS Collaboration
The ultra-peripheral Pb+Pb collisions at $\sqrt{s_{\mathrm{NN}}} = 5.02$ TeV performed at the ATLAS experiment are used to study a rare light-by-light scattering process, $\gamma\gamma\rightarrow\gamma\gamma$, allowed in Quantum Electrodynamics via a loop diagram. The poster summarises recent light-by-light measurements conducted using a combination of 2015 and 2018 datasets recorded by the ATLAS experiment, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 2.2 n$b^{-1}$. Search for direct production of electroweakinos in final states with one lepton, missing transverse momentum and a Higgs boson decaying into two $b$-jets in $pp$ collisions at $\sqrt{s}=13$ TeV with the ATLAS detector / ATLAS Collaboration
The results of a search for electroweakino pair production $pp \rightarrow \tilde\chi^\pm_1 \tilde\chi^0_2$ in which the chargino ($\tilde\chi^\pm_1$) decays into a $W$ boson and the lightest neutralino ($\tilde\chi^0_1$), while the heavier neutralino ($\tilde\chi^0_2$) decays into the Standard Model 125 GeV Higgs boson and a second $\tilde\chi^0_1$ are presented. The signal selection requires a pair of $b$-tagged jets consistent with those from a Higgs boson decay, and either an electron or a muon from the $W$ boson decay, together with missing transverse momentum from the corresponding neutrino and the stable neutralinos. [...]

Search for flavour-changing neutral currents in processes with one top quark and a photon using 81 fb$^{-1}$ of $pp$ collisions at $\sqrt{s} = 13$ TeV with the ATLAS experiment / ATLAS Collaboration
A search for flavour-changing neutral current (FCNC) events via the coupling of a top quark, a photon, and an up or charm quark is presented using 81 fb$^{-1}$ of proton-proton collision data taken at a centre-of-mass energy of 13 TeV with the ATLAS detector at the LHC. Events with a photon, an electron or muon, a $b$-tagged jet, and missing transverse momentum are selected. [...]

Measurement of the inclusive isolated-photon cross section in $pp$ collisions at $\sqrt{s}=13$ TeV using 36 fb$^{-1}$ of ATLAS dataMeasurement of the inclusive isolated-photon cross section in $pp$ collisions at $\sqrt{s}=13$ TeV using 36 fb$^{-1}$ of ATLAS data / ATLAS Collaboration
The differential cross section for isolated-photon production in $pp$ collisions is measured at a centre-of-mass energy of 13 TeV with the ATLAS detector at the LHC using an integrated luminosity of 36.1 fb$^{-1}$. The differential cross section is presented as a function of the photon transverse energy in different regions of photon pseudorapidity. [...]

Measurement of $K_S^0$ and $\Lambda^0$ production in $t \bar{t}$ dileptonic events in $pp$ collisions at $\sqrt{s} =$ 7 TeV with the ATLAS detector / ATLAS Collaboration
Measurements of $K_S^0$ and $\Lambda^0$ production in $t\bar{t}$ final states have been performed. They are based on a data sample with integrated luminosity of 4.6 $\mathrm{fb}^{-1}$ from proton-proton collisions at a centre-of-mass energy of 7 TeV, collected in 2011 with the ATLAS detector at the Large Hadron Collider. Measurement of the inclusive cross-section for the production of jets in association with a $Z$ boson in proton-proton collisions at 8 TeV using the ATLAS detector / ATLAS Collaboration
The inclusive cross-section for jet production in association with a $Z$ boson decaying into an electron-positron pair is measured as a function of the transverse momentum and the absolute rapidity of jets using 19.9 fb$^{-1}$ of $\sqrt{s} = 8$ TeV proton-proton collision data collected with the ATLAS detector at the Large Hadron Collider. The measured $Z +$ jets cross-section is unfolded to the particle level. [...]
