Hyperfine-structure parameters and isotope shifts for the 795-nm atomic transitions in $^{217,218,219}$At have been measured at CERN-ISOLDE, using the in-source resonance-ionization spectroscopy technique. Magnetic dipole and electric quadrupole moments, and changes in the nuclear mean-square charge radii, have been deduced. [...]

Charge radii and electromagnetic moments of $^{195–211}$At / Cubiss, J G (York U., England) ; Barzakh, A E (St. Petersburg, INP) ; Seliverstov, M D (York U., England ; St. Petersburg, INP) ; Andreyev, A N (York U., England ; JAEA, Ibaraki ; Paisley U. ; CERN) ; Andel, B (Comenius U.) ; Antalic, S (Comenius U.) ; Ascher, P (Heidelberg, Max Planck Inst.) ; Atanasov, D (Heidelberg, Max Planck Inst.) ; Beck, D (Darmstadt, GSI) ; Bieroń, J (Jagiellonian U.) et al.
Hyperfine-structure parameters and isotope shifts of At195–211 have been measured for the first time at CERN-ISOLDE, using the in-source resonance-ionization spectroscopy method. The hyperfine structures of isotopes were recorded using a triad of experimental techniques for monitoring the photo-ion current. [...]

ISOLTRAP's multi-reflection time-of-flight mass separator/spectrometer / Wolf, R N ; Wienholtz, F ; Atanasov, D ; Beck, D ; Blaum, K ; Borgmann, Ch ; Herfurth, F ; Kowalska, M (CERN) ; Kreim, S ; Litvinov, Yu A et al.
The online precision mass spectrometer ISOLTRAP at ISOLDE/CERN was recently upgraded by adding a multi-reflection time-of-flight mass separator/spectrometer (MR-ToF MS) between the linear radio-frequency ion trap and the two Penning traps already in place. As a mass separator, the MR-ToF device has improved significantly ISOLTRAP's capability of purification of contaminated ion beams. [...]

Penning-trap mass spectrometry and mean-field study of nuclear shape coexistence in the neutron-deficient lead region / Manea, V (CSNSM, Orsay ; Heidelberg, Max Planck Inst.) ; Ascher, P (Heidelberg, Max Planck Inst.) ; Atanasov, D (Heidelberg, Max Planck Inst.) ; Barzakh, A E (St. Petersburg, INP) ; Beck, D (Darmstadt, GSI) ; Blaum, K (Heidelberg, Max Planck Inst.) ; Borgmann, Ch (Heidelberg, Max Planck Inst.) ; Breitenfeldt, M (Leuven U.) ; Cakirli, R B (Heidelberg, Max Planck Inst.) ; Cocolios, T E (Manchester U.) et al.
We present a study of nuclear shape coexistence in the region of neutron-deficient lead isotopes. The midshell gold isotopes Au180,185,188,190 (Z=79), the two long-lived nuclear states in At197 (Z=85), and the neutron-rich nuclide At219 were produced by the ISOLDE facility at CERN and their masses were determined with the high-precision Penning-trap mass spectrometer ISOLTRAP. Precision mass measurements of cesium isotopes—new entries in the ISOLTRAP chronicles / Atanasov, D (Heidelberg, Max Planck Inst.) ; Beck, D (Darmstadt, GSI) ; Blaum, K (Heidelberg, Max Planck Inst.) ; Borgmann, Ch (Heidelberg, Max Planck Inst.) ; Cakirli, R B (Istanbul U.) ; Eronen, T (Heidelberg, Max Planck Inst.) ; George, S (Heidelberg, Max Planck Inst.) ; Herfurth, F (Darmstadt, GSI) ; Herlert, A (FAIR, Darmstadt) ; Kowalska, M (CERN) et al.
Alkali ion beams are among the most intense produced by the ISOLDE facility. These were the first to be studied by the ISOLTRAP mass spectrometer and ever since, new measurements have been regularly reported. [...]

Competition between pairing correlations and deformation from the odd-even mass staggering of francium and radium isotopes / Kreim, S (CERN ; Heidelberg, Max Planck Inst.) ; Beck, D (Darmstadt, GSI) ; Blaum, K (Heidelberg, Max Planck Inst.) ; Borgmann, Ch (Heidelberg, Max Planck Inst.) ; Breitenfeldt, M (Leuven U.) ; Cocolios, T E (CERN) ; Gottberg, A (CERN) ; Herfurth, F (Darmstadt, GSI) ; Kowalska, M (CERN) ; Litvinov, Yu A (Darmstadt, GSI) et al.
The masses of Fr222,224,226–233 and Ra233,234 have been determined with the Penning-trap mass spectrometer ISOLTRAP at the ISOLDE facility at CERN, including the previously unknown mass and half-life of Fr233. We study the evolution of the odd-even staggering of binding energies along the francium and radium isotopic chains and of its lowest-order estimator, Δ3(N). [...]

High-precision mass measurements of neutron-deficient Tl (A=184, 186, 190, 193–195, 198) isotopes as well as Pb (A=202,208), Fr (A=207,208), and Ra (A=224) are performed with the Penning-trap mass spectrometer ISOLTRAP at ISOLDE/CERN. The improved precision of the mass data now allows the study of subtle odd-even effects. [...]

Probing the N = 32 shell closure below the magic proton number Z = 20: Mass measurements of the exotic isotopes $^{52,53}$K / Rosenbusch, M. (Greifswald U.) ; Ascher, P. (Heidelberg, Max Planck Inst.) ; Breitenfeldt, M. (KU Leuven, Dept. Phys. Astron.) ; Cakirli, R.B. (Heidelberg, Max Planck Inst. ; Istanbul U.) ; Cipollone, A. (Surrey U.) et al.
The recently confirmed neutron-shell closure at N = 32 has been investigated for the first time below the magic proton number Z = 20 with mass measurements of the exotic isotopes 52,53K, the latter being the shortest-lived nuclide investigated at the online mass spectrometer ISOLTRAP. The resulting two-neutron separation energies reveal a 3 MeV shell gap at N = 32, slightly lower than for 52Ca, highlighting the doubly-magic nature of this nuclide. [...]
