Word started spreading more and more during the closing months of 2009 about the growing dissension between Pastor Cyrus Payton and the Deacon Board members. These rumors became the scuttlebutt before, during, and after a church service. For the first time in many years, a Saturday morning Call Meeting was announced for the final weekend of February 2010 at ten o’clock in the morning.
