Sunkissed! 💜🩷❤️🧡💛 This is my color reduction woodcut print for ART341C with @busybeeprintcompany !! I was only required to do 3 layers but since I'm insane and can never do just the bare minimum, I did five 😎 If I had to guess, I'd say I probably put upwards of 35 hours into this. My new reduction linocut print: 'A Certain Slant of Light.' In reduction printmaking, you create a print with several layers of printing with the use of just one block. The linoleum is gradually cut away, and each new color is printed on top of the last. The image slowly emerges while the linoleum block is being destroyed. A reduction print can never be reprinted.
