Glazing textured pottery

Crackle glazes are a type of pottery glaze that is intentionally crazed. Glazes that are crazed show a pattern of cracks.

After each mug is created by hand, I heat them in my ceramic kiln until they are “biscuit hard”. For this bowl I used Textured Amber brown (TAB) 2 base coats. Then Overlapping stripes of Seaweed (S) and Ancient Jasper (AJ) 2 coats.
