Fermented jalapeño honey is a perfect way to spice up your life while boosting your immune system at the same time!

This homemade Garlic Hot Honey is simple and flavorful. Garlicky with slight back of the throat heat meets sweet honey. Drizzle it over brie cheese, pizza, cooked shrimp or roasted sweet potatoes. Yields 2 cups.

Let's whip up some FERMENTED GARLIC HOT HONEY!!! A little drizzle of this will amp up anything from pizza to fried chicken and beyond! C'mon y'all! Typically Hot Honey is cooked to leach out the spicy goodness from the peppers but in the spirit of my Fall is for Fermentation session, I decided to let the environment’s natural bacteria do the cooking.

This was my second experiment fermenting cranberries in honey and it was a delicious success. But if you don’t like the taste of orange in your cranberry sauce, try my spiced version instead.
