With Halloween right around the corner, it's common for you to queue up some of the great scary movies and television shows that Hollywood has produced over the years.

I've had an RTX card for over a year now and finally found time to work on a project to test out UE4 real-time ray tracing and the Megascans pipeline. Inspired by a beautiful concept piece by Artyom Vlaskin, I wanted to add my own sinister spin. I wanted to leverage the Magascans library as much as possible but also made a number of custom props and some free UE4 Marketplace assets.

Hi, I'm the biggest fan of Dishnored art style, so in free time I decided to create something similar to it. Here are the results:

The basement

Both a lighting and material study  I was aiming for a creepy and oppressing mood, inspired by P.T, Resident Evil 7 and also the amazing work of Ben Wilson !
