I just found out that my buddy ran the LA Marathon in 2:58:00. Meanwhile, I was proud of myself for waking up in time to beat the Trader Joe’s rush. 😂 Regardless, his win feels like my win. And that’s what I love about friendships (at least the ones that last): they root you on, and cheer for you, and celebrate for and with you; no matter how big or small the win is.
