Light of Ruin (Japanese: はめつのひかり Light of Ruin) is a damage-dealing Fairy-type move introduced in Generation VI. It is the signature move of the Eternal Flower Floette, which has never been released.
Effect
Light of Ruin inflicts damage, and the user receives recoil damage equal to ½ of the damage done to the target.
Generation VIII
Pokémon Sword and Shield
Light of Ruin is programmed into Pokémon Sword and Shield, but it cannot be used in a battle as no available Pokémon can learn it, and it cannot be called by Metronome.
Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl
Light of Ruin cannot be selected in a battle.
Pokémon Legends: Arceus
Light of Ruin is programmed into Pokémon Legends: Arceus, but it cannot be used in a battle as no available Pokémon can learn it.
Generation IX
Pokémon Scarlet and Violet
Light of Ruin is programmed into Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, but it cannot be used in a battle as no available Pokémon can learn it, and it cannot be called by Metronome.

- In the room service minigame at Hotel Richissime, there is a food style option that selects the name of a random move, in which Light of Ruin can be mentioned. This is the only way for the move's name to be seen legitimately in any game.
