Anthony (AG010)

Anthony used his Pelipper, claiming it was the strongest Pokémon in the world. However it was all a ploy, and several other Pokémon were stored inside Pelipper's bill.

It first appeared in a battle against Ash and his Treecko. As the battle unfolded, he told Pelipper to use Vine Whip which it cannot learn, but used through help from Anthony's Bellsprout in Pelipper's bill. It was able to grab Treecko and knock it out. Ash sent out Taillow, but it was easily defeated by Magby's Flamethrower. Ash finally used Pikachu. He went in for a Thunder, which Pelipper also used and in the end the match ended in a draw.

Later, Team Rocket appeared in their plan to steal Pelipper. Anthony had Bellsprout use Vine Whip, but Team Rocket were able to use their mecha to grab onto Bellsprout's vines which revealed Anthony's ploy. They defeated Magby and Magnemite and blackmailed Anthony. Ash appeared to challenge a disguised Team Rocket, but as precaution, Jessie and James loaded up more Poké Balls inside Pelipper's mouth, and placed Meowth inside Pelipper as a "tactical controller." With the multi-talented Pokémon at their disposal, Team Rocket used Pelipper to defeat challengers and they amassed a horde of Pokémon as their prizes.

Ash selected Pikachu for his rematch. Pelipper started with Bellsprout's Vine Whip, which Pikachu managed to dodge. Meowth, inside Pelipper, then switched to Magby for a Smokescreen, which made a haze over Pikachu. Meowth brought back Bellsprout for a Razor Leaf, and then used Magby again for a Flamethrower. Because he could not find any stowed Water Pokémon to defeat Pikachu, Meowth chose to instead use Pelipper itself to fire the Water Gun. As he did so however, Pelipper shot water everywhere—at not only Pikachu, but Jessie and James as well, exposing Team Rocket as well as the Poké Balls and Meowth inside Pelipper's mouth. With the help of Pikachu, Team Rocket were sent blasting off.

Pelipper's known moves are Wing Attack, and Water Gun.

Anthony used his Bellsprout, stored in Pelipper's bill, to allow Pelipper to use moves it could otherwise not learn. It first appeared where it used a Vine Whip to defeat Treecko. Later, Team Rocket appeared in their plan to steal Pelipper and Bellsprout used a Vine Whip. Team Rocket wee able to use their mecha, however, to grab onto Bellsprout and knock it out. Later in a match with Ash and Pikachu it used its Vine Whip and Razor Leaf to hurt Pikachu.

Bellsprout's known moves are Vine Whip and Razor Leaf.

Anthony used his Magby, stored in Pelipper's bill to allow Pelipper to use Fire attacks. It first appeared where it used a Flamethrower to defeat Taillow. Later, Team Rocket appeared in their plan to steal Pelipper. Magby used Flamethrower, but Team Rocket were able to use their mecha to knock it out. It helped defeat a Trainer's Zigzagoon. Later, in a match against Ash and Pikachu, it used its Smokescreen to stop Pikachu from attacking.

Magby's known moves are Flamethrower and Smokescreen.

Anthony used his Magnemite, stored in Pelipper's bill to allow Pelipper to use moves it could otherwise not learn. The Electric addition led to a draw with Ash's Pikachu, as it used its own Thunder against Pikachu's oncoming attack. Later, Team Rocket appeared in their plan to steal Pelipper. Magnemite used Thunderbolt, but Team Rocket were able to use their mecha to knock it out.

Magnemite's known moves are Thunder and Thunderbolt.
