History
Pre-series
Some time ago, Nemona challenged the Paldea League and managed to become a Champion Rank Trainer. This made her famous among several Trainers in the Paldea region.
Pokémon Horizons: The Series
Nemona first appeared in Nemona and Brassius and... while winning a battle against a Trainer. Some time before meeting Liko and Roy, Nemona came to Artazon town to meet with Brassius and discuss his absence from the Gym. Upon being introduced to the young Trainers, Nemona joined them to go to the Gym and meet Brassius. During the meeting, they discussed their works and when Roy spoke about the Black Rayquaza, Brassius kicked everyone out of his house. While discussing why Brassius acted the way he did, Liko came to the conclusion that Brassius might have writer's block. After that, Nemona took Liko and Roy to the Sunflora Lawn and decided to group as many Sunflora to create inspiration for Brassius again, showing them later that she managed to gather fifteen species. After Brassius saw the group's determination and his Dolliv's insistence, Brassius presented Nemona, Liko and Roy with a work based on his vision of Rayquaza. As soon as Brassius challenged Roy to a battle, Nemona watched the battle along with Liko and explained some concepts like Terastallization to her. At the end, Brassius presented another work of his to the group, one based on the forest's Arboliva.
In the next episode, Nemona accompanied Liko, Roy, and Mollie into the Arboliva's Forest. Upon arriving, Nemona said goodbye to the group and said that the next time she would met them, she would like to have a battle with Roy.
Nemona appeared in a flashback to Liko and Roy's journey in From So Far Away.
In Welcome to Naranja Academy!, Nemona reunited with Liko and Roy and met Dot after they enrolled at Naranja Academy to train for the Tera Training. During the reunion, Liko and Roy discovered that Nemona's Pawmo evolved, and shortly thereafter, Nemona challenged Roy to a battle but was stopped by Clavell. Shortly after, Nemona showed off the Academy to the freshmen and introduced Elite Four members Rika and Hassel to her friends. After Liko and Ann's battle, Nemona appeared again wanting to battle but was interrupted by the ringing of the Academy's bell.
In Sparkle! The Glow of Fire and Art!, Nemona was in Artazon again helping with an Art Festival that would be held by Naranja Academy and Brassius: Upon meeting Roy again, Nemona immediately challenged him to a battle which she won without much difficulty, despite Roy and Fuecoco gave their best. After the battle, Nemona took her friends to the workshop where work was being done. After Liko, Roy and Dot showed off their art, Nemona watched Roy's battle against Brassius. Some time later, it was revealed that Nemona took a photo with Liko, Roy and Dot before separating from the group.
In HZ055, Nemona reunited with Liko, Roy, and Dot when they returned to Naranja Academy, after explaining their next challenge, Nemona watched the students' battles against Paldea's Elite Four. After Roy's defeat in the battle against Hassel, Nemona came personally to tell him to continue doing his best. In next episode, Nemona watched Liko and Katy's battle against Rika alongside Roy and Ann.
In HZ061, it was revealed that Nemona traveled to Montenevera, and after saving Terapagos from falling from the sky, Nemona reunited with Liko, Roy, and Dot again. Soon after, Nemona watched alongside Liko and Dot as Roy battled Ryme, and when Roy was defeated, Nemona joined the girls to see how Roy and Fuecoco were doing. In the following episode, in order to cheer Roy up, Nemona held a Hyper Training with him and Fuecoco. As the afternoon wore on, Nemona joined the group and heard the story of why Roy likes to sing. Later, Nemona watched Roy and Ryme's rematch and after Roy's victory, she congratulated him for advancing another step in the Tera Training.
In HZ066, Nemona met with Liko, Roy, and Dot again. After talking about the progress of the Tournament for the Tera Training students, she watched the battles while Liko and Roy solved a problem at Naranja Academy involving the Explorers. In the next episode, Nemona praised Roy and Liko's heroic actions in saving the school from the Explorers, whom she heard from Penny. Soon after, Nemona watched Liko and Roy's battle alongside Penny and Arven, and after Roy's victory, Nemona congratulated him on the result and said she was proud of Roy's progress up to that point alongside Ryme.
Character
Nemona is a very friendly and kind person, quickly making friends with Liko and Roy. Nemona has a very supportive personality, showing this when she tried to encourage Roy to continue doing his best in battles after being defeated by Hassel.
She also has a huge passion for Pokémon battles, challenging different Trainers as she encounters them on her way to a battle. During the time that Liko and Roy spent at Naranja Academy, Nemona often challenged people to battle, but was always interrupted by something. In addition to this, in HZ061, Nemona revealed that she enjoys following some events that involve Pokémon battles, which motivated her to travel to Montenevera just to watch the battles that happened at Ryme's show.
As expected from a Champion, Nemona is well respected in the Paldea region, as shown during her first appearance and when Nemona met Dot who was quite embarrassed in Nemona's presence. Despite her young age she is shown to be very knowledgeable about various topics in the Pokémon world such as the Terastal phenomenon.
