Just Skatin' by!

It's my design day over at SVG Cutting Files.

There are a bunch of new treat boxes in the store starting today.
I am sharing the new triangle box. No gluing needed for this treat box. Just cut and fold it up.

It's adorable and you can get so many things in it.

I decorated mine with a little winter scene using the little ice skater from the Winter kids cut file set.

On the top of the box, I added a winter sentiment and some skates from the My Creative time Winter Cheer stamp set.

Check out the new boxes now for all your winter and Valentine treats.

Skatin' by with a winter hi!

Today is my design day over at SVG Cutting Files and today I am sharing a couple winter themed cards. With the holidays just a few days behind us and still a over a month until Valentine's day, there is still plenty of winter fun to celebrate like sledding, hockey and ice Skating.

The first card features a brand new file in the store now called Chili Skating Girl.

She is so cute. With her little heart on her headband this could easily be a valentines card. Just change the sentiment.

The second card is using an older file from the SVG Cutting Files store from the Winter Kids file set.

I tried a new technique on these cards. I used an acrylic block for stamping, I then selected several different colors of ink pads and rubbed them onto the acrylic block. Next I sprayed the block with a fine mist of water and stamped this wet mess onto my paper. What a cool effect, the colors all bleed together to make a watercolor type background.

I used some dies to cut out the square background before attaching it to my card.

Happy Winter!

Happy Thursday. Today I have a Digi My World project to share. It's a winter theme card using the DMW Winter Kids Clipart file.

Once I had my card designed, I sized the clipart on the computer and printed and cut it as a circle. You can do this with your Cameo software or by using a large circle punch or perhaps a circle die.

I have the old Creative Memories cutting templates that worked perfectly.

I added a snowflake which was made us the Jaded Blossom Winter Dies and the sentiment fro the Your So Cool stamps by My Creative Time.
