This 2022 Triumph Rocket 3 GT is one of 1,000 Triple Black examples built and was purchased new by seller in 2021. Power is provided by a 2,458cc DOHC triple paired with a six-speed transmission and a driveshaft enclosed within the single-sided swingarm, and the bike’s bodywork is finished in two-tone black with silver accents. The bike rides on 17″ and 16″ cast alloy wheels and is further equipped multiple riding and control modes, cruise control, a color TFT instrument display, LED lighting, adjustable Showa suspension, and triple disc brakes with Brembo calipers and ABS. Modifications include the installation of a Triumph quick-shift system, a Madstad adjustable windscreen, a Corbin two-up leather seat, locking hard-sided panniers, a tail rack and bag, and a tire-pressure monitoring system (TPMS). This Rocket 3 GT is now offered with a certificate of authenticity, owner’s and service manuals, two keys, a key fob, service records, and a clean Oregon title in the seller’s name.
The 4.8-gallon fuel tank is finished in two-tone black with silver accents. Additional detail include dual LED headlights, a carbon-fiber front fender, a Madstad adjustable windscreen, a Corbin two-up leather seat, bar-end mirrors, locking hard-sided panniers, and a tail bag.
Multi-spoke 17″ and 16″ alloy wheels were mounted with Metzeler ME 888 Ultra Marathon tires measuring 150/80 up front and 240/50 at the rear in February 2024. Adjustable Showa suspension consists of a 47mm inverted fork as well as an adjustable monoshock connected to the aluminum single-sided swingarm. The triple disc brakes feature ABS, radial-mount Brembo Stylema four-piston calipers fitted over dual 320mm semi-floating discs up front, and a four-piston Brembo Monobloc caliper mounted over a 300mm disc at the rear. Sensors for a tire-pressure monitoring system were installed in February 2024.
The black handlebar carries a color TFT display with a tachometer with a 6,500-rpm redline, a gear indicator, a speedometer, and a fuel-level readout. The bike is equipped with traction control, cruise control, and multiple riding modes. The digital odometer indicates 9,500 miles.
The liquid-cooled 2,458cc DOHC triple was factory rated at 165 horsepower and 163 lb-ft torque and features ride-by-wire throttle control, electronic fuel injection, and a three-into-three exhaust system. Recall work to the battery fuse was carried out in February 2024.
Power is sent to rear wheel through a torque-assist clutch, a six-speed transmission, and a driveshaft enclosed within the single-sided swingarm.
A certificate of authenticity, owner’s and service manuals, two keys, a key fob, and service records are included in the sale.
