This 2012 Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG is finished in Obsidian Black Metallic over Exclusive black and red leather and is powered by a 6.2-liter V8 linked with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transaxle and a limited-slip differential. Equipment includes 19″ and 20″ 10-spoke wheels, gullwing doors, carbon-ceramic brakes, AMG adaptive suspension, a speed-activated aerofoil, heated power-adjustable seats, Keyless-Go, dual-zone automatic climate control, and COMAND infotainment with navigation. The SLS AMG Coupé was the first car to be developed in-house by Mercedes-AMG and was first unveiled at the 2009 IAA International Motor Show in Germany. Stopping power is provided by gold-finished AMG-branded brake calipers over carbon-ceramic rotors at all four corners.

The cabin features heated power-adjustable AMG sport seats trimmed in Exclusive black and red leather that extends to the lower dashboard, center console, and door panel inserts. Amenities include a rearview camera, Keyless-Go, dual-zone automatic climate control, Blind Spot Assistant, and COMAND infotainment with navigation.

The leather-wrapped steering wheel features aluminum shift paddles and frames a 240-mph speedometer, a tachometer, shift indicator lights, and supplementary gauges for oil temperature and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 1,700 miles.

The hand-assembled 6.2-liter M159 DOHC V8 was factory rated at 563 horsepower and 479 lb-ft of torque.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transaxle and a limited-slip differential.
