This 2012 Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG is finished in Obsidian Black Metallic over Exclusive black and red leather and is powered by a 6.2-liter V8 linked with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transaxle and a limited-slip differential. Equipment includes 19″ and 20″ 10-spoke wheels, gullwing doors, carbon-ceramic brakes, AMG adaptive suspension, a speed-activated aerofoil, heated power-adjustable seats, Keyless-Go, dual-zone automatic climate control, and COMAND infotainment with navigation. The car was previously offered on BaT in November 2023 and was acquired by the selling dealer in 2024. This SLS AMG has 1,700 miles and is now offered by the selling dealer with a clean Carfax report and a clean New Jersey title.
The SLS AMG Coupé was the first car to be developed in-house by Mercedes-AMG and was first unveiled at the 2009 IAA International Motor Show in Germany. This example is finished in Obsidian Black Metallic and features gullwing doors with pop-out handles as well as bi-xenon headlamps, an airfoil, straked front fender vents, power-folding mirrors, Parktronic parking sensors, and polished exhaust outlets.
Staggered-width 19″ and 20″ 10-spoke forged-alloy wheels are finished in black and mounted with Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires measuring 255/35 up front and 295/30 out back. The car is equipped with speed-sensitive power steering and AMG adaptive suspension. Stopping power is provided by gold-finished AMG-branded brake calipers over carbon-ceramic rotors at all four corners.
The cabin features heated power-adjustable AMG sport seats trimmed in Exclusive black and red leather that extends to the lower dashboard, center console, and door panel inserts. Amenities include a rearview camera, Keyless-Go, dual-zone automatic climate control, Blind Spot Assistant, and COMAND infotainment with navigation.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel features aluminum shift paddles and frames a 240-mph speedometer, a tachometer, shift indicator lights, and supplementary gauges for oil temperature and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 1,700 miles.
The hand-assembled 6.2-liter M159 DOHC V8 was factory rated at 563 horsepower and 479 lb-ft of torque.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transaxle and a limited-slip differential.
The Carfax report is free of accidents and other reported damage.
