This 2009 Mercedes-Benz SL63 AMG is one of 200 examples built in the Edition IWC and one of a reported 63 destined for the US market. All were finished in Designo Magno Cashmere White over Tobago Brown AMG Premium leather and powered by a 6.2-liter V8 paired with a seven-speed AMG Speedshift MCT transmission. Equipment includes a power-retractable hardtop with a panoramic glass roof as well as the Exterior Carbon Fiber Package, bi-xenon headlights, 19″ split-spoke AMG wheels, Keyless Go, heated and ventilated multi-contour seats, a Harman Kardon sound system, and COMAND with navigation. The car spent time in New Jersey, Florida, and Georgia before the selling dealer’s recent acquisition, and it now has under 69k miles. This R230 is now offered in Texas by the selling dealer with a clean Carfax report and a clean Georgia title.

All examples of the SL63 Edition IWC were finished in Designo Magno Cashmere White and equipped with the Exterior Carbon Fiber Package. This car also features a power-folding convertible hardtop with a panoramic glass roof as well as fender air vents and bi-xenon headlights with Active Curve Illumination. AMG bodywork including a revised front spoiler, side skirts, and quad exhaust outlets was also installed at the factory. Imperfections are visible on the front bumper cover.

The 19″ split-spoke alloy wheels are mounted with 255/35 front and 285/30 rear Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3+ tires. The wheels have curb marks and two tires have sidewall damage. The car features Active Body Control (ABC) suspension as well as an Electronic Stability Program, Automatic Slip Regulation, and an AMG High Performance Braking System with cross-drilled rotors.

The cabin is trimmed in black and Tobago Brown AMG Premium leather upholstery and interior highlights include an IWC logo near the climate controls, matte carbon-fiber trim, illuminated door sills, and heated and ventilated multi-contour seats with Airscarf neck warmers. Other amenities comprise dual-zone automatic climate control, Keyless Go, a Harman Kardon sound system, and COMAND infotainment with navigation.

The two-tone leather-wrapped steering wheel is equipped with shift paddles and frames a 200-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and auxiliary gauges. The digital odometer indicates under 69k miles.

The 6.2-liter M156 V8 was factory rated at 518 horsepower and 465 lb-ft of torque. The Carfax report notes alternator, PCV valve, and valve cover gasket replacement in April 2022 as well as spark plug replacement in November 2023.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a seven-speed AMG Speedshift MCT transmission. Transmission replacement is noted on the Carfax report in May 2021 along with exhaust repairs in November 2023.
