This 1997 Jeep Cherokee Country remained under the care of its prior owner for 25 years and now has 84k miles following registration history in Maryland, and Virginia, Delaware. Finished in Stone White over Mist Gray cloth upholstery, the car is powered by a 4.0-liter inline-six mated to a four-speed automatic transmission and a dual-range transfer case. Equipment includes front disc brakes, 15″ Luxury cast aluminum wheels, power-adjustable side mirrors, an AM/FM/CD stereo, air conditioning, and cruise control. Acquired by the selling dealer in 2025, this XJ Cherokee is offered at no reserve with a Carfax report and a clean Delaware title.
The truck is finished in Stone White with a body-color grille, bumper covers, and wheel arch flares. Additional equipment includes a rear wiper, a roof rack, and power-adjustable side mirrors. A March 2003 entry on the Carfax report notes that the vehicle was inspected following an accident or other incident, which resulted in damage to the right front and right center pillar. Close-up photographs of the exterior finish and trim are shown in the gallery below.
The 15″ Luxury cast aluminum wheels are mounted with Goodyear Wrangler RT/S tires that have 2010 date codes. Stopping power is provided by front discs and rear drums. The truck came equipped from the factory with power steering.
The cabin features reclining front bucket seats and a rear bench trimmed in Mist Gray cloth. Amenities include a rear window defroster, air conditioning, cruise control, and an AM/FM/CD stereo.
The steering wheel frames a 100-mph speedometer, a 6k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for fuel level, voltage, oil pressure, and coolant temperature. The digital odometer indicates 84k miles.
The PowerTech 4.0-liter inline-six was factory rated at 190 horsepower and 225 lb-ft of torque. An oil change was performed in preparation for the sale.
Power is sent to the rear or all four wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission and a dual-range transfer case. The truck features a Command-Trac four-wheel drive system. The exhaust system has recently been replaced.
The Carfax report shows the aforementioned March 2003 damage.
