This 1986 Porsche 911 Carrera Targa was sold new at Porsche of Bayridge in Brooklyn, New York, and it now shows 38k miles following the current owner’s purchase in 2024. Powered by a 3.2-liter flat-six paired with a 915 five-speed manual transaxle, the car is finished in Guards Red over black leather upholstery. Equipment includes 16″ Fuchs alloy wheels, front and rear spoilers, a removable Targa roof panel, cruise control, power-adjustable Sport seats, a Blaupunkt cassette stereo, and air conditioning. Work performed in 2024 has included treating the underside with dry ice and replacing the air conditioning condenser, blower fan motor, engine sound pad, air filter, and spark plugs. This Carrera Targa is offered by the selling dealer in Texas with manufacturer’s literature, service records, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Ohio title.
The car is finished in Guards Red and features front and rear spoilers as well as a black removable Targa roof panel, integrated fog lights, and heated power-adjustable side mirrors. Photographs of paint-meter readings are presented in the gallery.
The 16″ Fuchs alloy wheels have black centers and are mounted with Michelin Pilot Sport tires that have 2020 date codes. Braking is handled by four-wheel discs.
The cabin features power-adjustable front sport seats upholstered in black leather. Amenities include air conditioning, cruise control, a Blaupunkt cassette stereo, and power windows. The speaker covers were replaced in 2024.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames VDO instrumentation including a central tachometer with a 6,300-rpm redline as well as a 170-mph speedometer, a Quarz clock, and gauges for oil level, oil pressure, oil temperature, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 38k miles, approximately 100 of which were added under current ownership.
The 3.2-liter M930/21 flat-six was factory rated at 202 horsepower and 185 lb-ft of torque. The air conditioning condenser, blower fan motor, engine sound pad, air filter, and spark plugs were replaced in 2024.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Type 915 five-speed manual transaxle. The underside was treated with dry ice in September 2024.
Manufacturer’s literature, service records, and a tool roll will accompany the sale.
The Carfax report is free of accidents or other reported damage.
