This 1982 Mercedes-Benz 380SL is finished in Midnight Blue over gray upholstery and is powered by a 3.8-liter V8 paired with a four-speed automatic transmission. It has a removable body-color hardtop, a blue soft top, and 14″ Bundt alloy wheels along with automatic climate control, power windows, and a Becker cassette stereo. The car was acquired by the seller on BaT in November 2023 and was listed again on BaT in September 2024. This R107 shows 82k miles and is now offered at no reserve with an owner’s manual, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Texas title in the name of the seller’s LLC.
The car is finished in Midnight Blue (904) and features a removable body-color hardtop, a replacement blue soft top, quad headlights, fog lights, and chrome-accented bumpers and trim. The power-retractable antenna does not work and rust is noted on the bottom of the rocker panels. The bulk of the photos in the listing and gallery were taken in September 2024.
Silver-finished 14″ Bundt alloy wheels are mounted with older Ironman tires. The car was factory-equipped with power steering, a fully independent suspension, and power-assisted four-wheel disc brakes.
The bucket seats are trimmed in gray upholstery that extends to the door panels. Woodgrain trim accents the dashboard and center console, and additional appointments include air conditioning, power windows, and a Becker cassette stereo. Cracks are visible on the dashboard and console trim.
The four-spoke steering wheel frames VDO instrumentation including an 85-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, a clock, and gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, fuel economy, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 82k miles, less than 1k of which have been added under current ownership.
The 3.8-liter V8 was factory rated at 155 horsepower and 196 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission.
Rust is noted on the exhaust and various underside components.
The Carfax report is free of accidents or other reported damage.
The Texas title is listed as a certified copy and notes “VIN certification waived” under the remarks section.
