This 1969 Porsche 912 is powered by a fuel-injected 3.0L flat-six paired with a five-speed 901 manual transaxle and has been refinished in gray over a black interior with houndstooth seat inserts. The suspension has been modified with 911SC components, coilovers front and rear, Tarett Engineering sway bars, Elephant Racing front control arms, and poly bronze bushings. Other features include H4 headlights, Euro taillight lenses, 16×7″ Fuchs-style wheels, 911SC disc brakes, a bolt-in roll bar, a Wevo shifter, and PMO throttle bodies. The engine was built by Tiger Motorsports of Canoga Park, California in 2020, and the car was offered on BaT in December 2021. Acquired by the seller in 2023, this modified 912 is now offered with a clean Ohio title assigned to the seller’s LLC.
The car was delivered new in Light Ivory (6804) and was repainted in Slate Grey around 2018. The right floorboard and one of the right front suspension pick-up points were replaced before the repaint. Features include aftermarket bumpers and H4 headlights. A detail in May 2024 included paint correction and a sealant.
The 16×7 Fuchs-style wheels are mounted with Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4 tires. 911SC brakes are said to have been installed front and rear along with an SC master cylinder and stainless-steel brake lines. The chassis has reportedly been modified with the following components:
- 911SC front suspension and rear trailing arms
- Tarett Engineering drop links and blade-style sway bars front and rear
- Elephant Racing monoball top mounts
- Elephant Racing front control arms with spherical bearings
- Elephant Racing polybronze control-arm and trailing-arm bushings
- Rebel Racing/Bilstein front and rear coilovers
- Rebel Racing raised front spindles
- Rebel Racing adjustable rear spring plates
- Rebel Racing weld-in rear shock-mount reinforcement
- Rebel Racing front strut bar
The interior was refreshed in 2018 and features bolstered bucket seats in black with houndstooth inserts and retractable three-point restraints. A bolt-in roll bar and carpeted rear shelf are fitted in lieu of rear seats, and other equipment includes a Wevo shifter, RS-style door panels, a lightweight carpet kit, and a fire extinguisher mounted in the passenger-side footwell.
The Momo Prototipo steering wheel frames VDO instrumentation with replacement green-letter gauge faces, including an 8k-rpm tachometer, a 150-mph speedometer, an analog clock, and combination gauges. The five-digit odometer shows around 3,800 miles. True mileage is unknown.
The fuel-injected 3.0-liter flat-six was built by Tiger Motorsports of Canoga Park, California, in 2020. It was tuned by Church Automotive Testing the same year and made 247 horsepower and 217 lb-ft of torque at the wheels. A build sheet and dyno charts can be seen in the gallery below.
Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a short-ratio 901 five-speed manual transaxle, which is fitted with a billet side cover from California Motorsports and a Sachs clutch and flywheel kit. The heat exchangers are not connected to the exhaust.
