Varieties of ferns, mosses, lichens, fungas's and mushrooms grow under the dark canopy of mainly Fir and Cedar Trees, as well as deciduous trees like the Maple tree. I found this sunlit cluster of Mycena (haematopus) Mushrooms growing out of a rotting moss covered Fir Tree and decided to stop and take a photo of them as the sun's rays brought their pretty colors to life!
