Most of us want to believe that if we trust our lives to God, He will give us a happy, healthy, comfortable, and trouble-free life. The truth is, Jesus doesn't invite us to a life of comfort and ease, but to a life of sacrifice and surrender. "Then Jesus told his disciples, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. For whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will find it." Matthew 16:24-25

Our world needs more people who are totally committed to Jesus Christ. In light of what God has done for us, all Christians should be living sacrifices. Indeed, we owe it to Him to be so.
