Wayne Jeffery is best known for his recycled steel artworks that reflect the flow and elegance of nature. βMy work celebrates the interactions between creatures, plants and environments that tell a story or captures a distinct mood or feeling. These subtleties are often missed in our fast-paced lifestyle, but must never be taken for granted.β With an emphasis on custom paint colours and finishes, as well as the natural direction of the scrap metal he repurposes, his work has been described as having an organic flow and a distinct sculptural style. Using a cold-forging method, his works are made from thousands of small pieces that he mosaics together to create sculpture, furniture and features for both residential and commercial applications. He has a particular affinity for Australian flora and fauna, for its ability to withstand such a harsh environment and for the diversity of textures, colours and shapes.
Wayne has been producing this style of artwork since 2008, selling to private collectors globally through fine art galleries in Western Australia, and extending to the Eastern States, and now on Bluethumb.
