Let's open Pandora's Box. KPJ OF are like Lin Only Fans. One or two or a few good games and they think it's time to anoint him as the next coming. They also like to crap on other players a lot - just like Lin Only Fans tried to crap on Harden, KPJ OF hate Sengun (and some of them hate Green). And they like to label fans of other players "only fans" when that is not even the case. One other thing they have in common with Lin Only Fans (other than being fanatical about an inferior player to the actual franchise player(s) (ours are Green and Sengun, with Bari a strong third)) is that they are a tiny minority (see screenshots below), but especially vocal. There aren’t any KPJ OF to be honest. Some of us like him obviously, but we don’t blow him 24/7 like y’all do with Sengun. I voted KPJ just to annoy you for making that dumb thread. You post about Sengun all day, you make multiple threads about him, and nobody does that with KPJ. You sound like the biggest hypocrite right now bc that’s how you are with Sengun
As predicted, here we go with more unhinged threads from this nutjob. Kid, there are no "KPJ only fans", literally none. I get that since you are a single player first type of fan, you view the world through that paradigm, but other people are just normal. I understand that you have a pathological condition when it comes to KPJ, it's been well established at this point....but to most people, he's just another player. The irony of this whole thing is that from what I can tell, Sengun fans are identical to Lin fans. They can't just root for the player they support, they feel like they have to try and tear down other players at the same time. It's absurd. Every time KPJ has a good game we get this kind ridiculous nonsense from the Sengun fluffer...and given that since Christmas his line is 19.4/5.9/5.4 line shooting 41% from 3 with a 60.3% TS%....that's basically every game. It's just too predictable my guy. I'm honestly not joking when I say you should probably see someone about your condition, it can't be healthy.
Even the most ardent KPJ guys (me) have to simmer down when he plays bad, but the SOFs will gaslight you with BS takes about extenuating circumstances when Alpie plays bad. Big difference.
i don't think u can equate kpj only fans to lin only fans. It's more like kpj fans to wood fans, folks who get turn on by the empty stats said player put up when said player is a negative to the team overall developmental process. Wood shtty attitude, refuses to play defense, does not set screen, and doesn't want to play center. Gets praise by the some of the same folks that like kpj b/c of his "stats". KPJ has a shtty attitude, is not a good pg, lazy defense, puts up stats, get praises by these folks who blame sengun/green/smith and everybody else instead of acknowledging that he isn't a pg. Like wood who isn't a starting center on a competitive team, kpj isn't a starting pg on an actual team.
We're ALWAYS good, Brother. It's been been, what...more than a quarter century? Now, deep into middle age... we're entitled to lose our mind once in awhle. Lord knows I have at times.
Hard not to with what we have been put through as Rockets fans . I was wondering the other day whether I "discovered" Clutchcity (which it was before the Rockets asserted their trademark, if I remember correctly) in 1996 or 1997. I think it was 1996, even, but 1997 at the latest. It was my way to stay in touch with my newfound passion. Grateful to @Clutch (also that he let me back in after I caused a bit of trouble ). In 1997/1998 and really before 2001 or so, had to pay huge dial-up fees still in Germany to be online and follow the Rockets. Seems very far away.

It doesn't upset me . Agreed, it's all for fun, as is this thread. And I will say that KPJ definitely does have talent and if he is on the Rockets next year and behaves and accepts whatever his role is, I will support him like any other Rocket
There are absolutely a handful of KPJ knights. They aren’t near as bad as the LOFs. They aren’t even as bad as the worst Sen-goonies.
I swear, it's like @Clutch is on vacation and left the kids at home by themselves. Sengun is on @AroundTheWorld mind 24/7 which makes me wonder about him
I said it very early into the season that, you can be whoever only fans you want; you want to be a team first fan, great, you want to be a particular player first fan, great as well. People come together with different reasons, and it's alright. Same analogy, some people get married for love, some people get married for free sex, some people want money and security. Why do people get married for love superior than people get married for other reasons? Does it put "true" before "love" makes it a real "true love"? IMO, as long as people engaged in a reasonable conversation, you can be whoever you want. Like yesterday's game, you can say Green was the best player because he scored the most points; you can say Alp was the best player because he had a all-around game; you can even say Jabari was the best player because he grabbed more rebounds than anybody else on the team; you can also say the team efforts was the reason we won the game. Any of the arguments are fine, regardless what only fans you are rooting for. The problem here in Clutchfans, is that some fans attacked some other fans just because what groups they are belong to. What makes team first fans superior than other fans? A team first fan doesn't have to pay the ticket? Tilman gives those fans a free pass to the game? I don't like KPJ and I hope he'll be off this team asap, and I have been very consistent about that. However, I don't have problems with the KPJ only fans. It's also normal to crap other players to make their idols look better. Everybody did that at certain point, people just don't have the mirror to look at themselves.
