Timothy Lanane (Democratic Party) was a member of the Indiana State Senate, representing District 25. He assumed office in 1997. He left office on November 9, 2022.

Lanane (Democratic Party) ran for re-election to the Indiana State Senate to represent District 25. He won in the general election on November 6, 2018.

Lanane served as state Senate minority leader from 2018 to 2020. He previously served as assistant minority leader.

Biography

Lanane earned his B.S. from Ball State University in 1974 and his J.D. from Indiana University in 1977. His professional experience includes working as an attorney for the city of Anderson, Indiana, as an attorney for the Indiana Legal Services Organization, and as a self-employed attorney.
