Chang (Democratic Party) ran for re-election to the Michigan State Senate to represent District 3. She won in the general election on November 8, 2022.
Chang is a former Democratic member of the Michigan House of Representatives, representing District 6 from 2015 to 2019.
Biography
Stephanie Chang lives in Detroit, Michigan.[1] Chang earned a bachelor's degree in psychology and master's degrees in public policy and social work from the University of Michigan in 2005 and 2014, respectively.[1][2] Her career experience includes working as an alumni engagement and evaluation coordinator with the Center for Progressive Leadership, a community engagement coordinator with the James and Grace Boggs School, and a CommonGround research assistant with the University of Michigan Program on Intergroup Relations. Chang served as the president of the Asian & Pacific Islander American Vote - Michigan.[2]
