Lynwood Savage is a former Democratic member of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives, representing District 192 from March 2016 to December 2016. He was first elected to the chamber in a special election on March 15, 2016. He was sworn in to the chamber on April 5, 2016.[1]

Elections for the Pennsylvania House of Representatives took place in 2016. The primary election was held on April 26, 2016, and the general election was held on November 8, 2016. The candidate filing deadline was February 16, 2016.

Morgan Cephas ran unopposed in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives District 192 general election.[2][3]

Morgan Cephas defeated Jestine Johnson, Steven Jones, Edwin Santana, and incumbent Lynwood Savage in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives District 192 Democratic primary.[4][5]

A special election for the position of Pennsylvania House of Representatives District 192 was called for March 15. Candidates were nominated by their parties rather than through primaries.[6]

The seat was vacant following Louise Williams Bishop's (D) resignation on December 17, 2015, as part of a plea deal in a corruption case.[7]

Lynwood Savage (D) defeated Robert Bedford (R) and Leon Williams (Leon's Education Party) in the special election.[8][9][10]
