Jason Smalley (Republican Party) was a member of the Oklahoma State Senate, representing District 28. Smalley assumed office on November 19, 2014. Smalley left office on January 31, 2020.

Smalley (Republican Party) ran for re-election to the Oklahoma State Senate to represent District 28. Smalley won in the general election on November 6, 2018.

On January 21, 2020, Smalley announced that he would resign from the Senate effective January 31, 2020, to take a private-sector job with Motorola Solutions Corporation.[1]

He served in the Oklahoma House of Representatives, representing District 32 from 2012 to 2014.

Biography

Smalley earned his B.A. in Social Sciences from the University of Oklahoma.[2] His professional experience includes working as a technology consultant.[2] He served in the United States Marine Corps.[3]

Elections for the Oklahoma State Senate took place in 2014. A primary election took place on June 24, 2014. The general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was April 11, 2014. Marilyn Rainwater defeated Billy Hinton in the Democratic primary, while Jason Smalley defeated Michael Ballard, Charles Mashek, Joe Dobry and Danny Williams in the Republican primary. Smalley defeated Rainwater in the general election.[4][5][6]
