I am 61 years old and own a small business selling industrial supplies to commercial and government accounts. Though we are from Greensboro, NC, my wife Brenda and I moved to Summerfield, NC 22 years ago and consider it our hometown. We just celebrated our thirt-seventh wedding anniversary. When I have the time I enjoy reading books, going to the beach and working in the yard. My first vote was for Ronald Reagan and though I have always been a news junkie and politically aware, it was President Obama and his promise to drastically change our country that prompted me to become politically active. I joined the Tea Party in 2009 and over the years became immersed in the Republican Party and was elected 6th District Chairman overseeing eight county GOP organizations. I am determined to prevent the implementation of Socialism on our country by those that wish to ruin the American dream and our way of life.

  • The biggest threat to America is our national debt. I will make the elimination of deficit spending my number one priority.
  • We must finish the wall on our southern border. Only after we have protected our sovereignty can we deal fairly with those that wish to legally enter our country.
  • I wish to eliminate the Dept. of Education and return it's responsibilities back to the states, where they have always belonged.

Restoring respect and fully funding law enforcement. Reining in the out of control judiciary. Unnecessary entanglements in foreign countries affairs.

I enjoy a challenge and taking on the hard tasks. I believe in being direct. I get things done.

Being known for my honesty and integrity.

I've been working since I was 14. My very first job other than mowing yards was a dishwasher, where I was paid under the table. Over the years I have had many different jobs, many of them unenjoyable.

The national debt, cancel culture, the rapid tilt towards Solialism.

Though I haven't always felt this way, I am in favor of term limits.

One of my priorities is the bringing back the discussion of a fair or flat tax . A national sales tax would be even better.

When I have the time, I enjoy reading books, going to the beach and working in the yard. Though I have always been a news junkie and politically aware, it was President Obama and his promise to drastically change our country that prompted me to become politically active. In 2009 I became involved with the Tea Party and over the years immersed myself in the Republican Party and for the past two and a half years have had the privilege of serving as the NC Republican Party 6th District Chairman. Unnecessary entanglements in foreign affairs that results in our military being sent in harm's way.|Limiting the out of control judiciary. The Constitution is not a living document. we need to put the power back in the hands of our legislators where it belongs.

I enjoy a challenge and not afraid to take on tough tasks. I am a straight shooter and believe in being direct. I get things done.

My most memorable event that I can remember with detail is the lunar landing and Neil Armstrong walking on the Moon. I was eight years old.

At 14 I washed dishes in a local restaurant and was paid under the table. I have had many different jobs over the years. A lot of them were less than enjoyable.

To Kill a Mockingbird. No explanation necessary.

The relationship that the members of Congress have with their constituents. To be re-elected they must constantly be in touch with the people, which enables them to bring their concerns to Washington.

I am for them. Unfortunately there isn't much appetite for this to happen in DC.

I am a big fan of both of our former Representatives. Howard Coble and Mark Walker but plan on bringing my own style when elected.

Besides national security, by far the main issue facing people is our health care system. Though there will always be a need for a government funded safety net for those that suffer catastrophic health care issues, I would like to start over and implement a market based system.
