Scorecards
A scorecard evaluates a legislator’s voting record. Its purpose is to inform voters about the legislator’s political positions. Because scorecards have varying purposes and methodologies, each report should be considered on its own merits. For example, an advocacy group’s scorecard may assess a legislator’s voting record on one issue while a state newspaper’s scorecard may evaluate the voting record in its entirety.
Ballotpedia is in the process of developing an encyclopedic list of published scorecards. Some states have a limited number of available scorecards or scorecards produced only by select groups. It is Ballotpedia’s goal to incorporate all available scorecards regardless of ideology or number.

Prostitute comment
Passidomo said that an 11 year old Texas girl who was gang raped "dressed like a 21 year old prostitute."[11] During debate in the Florida House's K-20 Education Innovation Subcommittee over a bill that would legislate a dress code for Florida public school students, Passidomo said "[The girl's] parents let her attend school like that. And I think it's incumbent upon us to create some areas where students can be safe in school and show up in proper attire so what happened in Texas doesn't happen to our students."[12] National news outlets, including the Huffington Post, New York Magazine, and Salon.com, said that Passidomo blamed the rape on the irresponsibility of the child's parents.
In response, Passidomo said she was "really hurt" by the media response to her comments and that "the blame is solely on the boys for what occurred." She insisted her intention was merely to note that "one of the ways to [protect kids from predators] is to teach them how to dress appropriately."[13] She said she had received email responses about her comments and "lost some sleep over the issue," but declared she was ready to move on.
