Doug Levinson is the District A representative on the Mesa County Valley School District 51 Board of Education in Colorado. The general election was held on November 3, 2015. Doug Levinson won the general election on November 3, 2015.

Levinson taught for eight years and was the assistant principal in Fort Collins, CO. He went on to serve as principal of Scenic Elementary School for 23 years. Levinson retired in 2014. He is married and has two sons.[1]

Two of the five seats on the Mesa County Valley School District 51 Board of Education were up for by-district general election on November 3, 2015.

The seats of District A incumbent Arvan Jeffry Leany and District B incumbent Ann Tisue were up for election.[2][3] Challenger Doug Levinson defeated Leany and Kelly Reed for the District A seat. Tisue did not file to run for re-election in District B, which guaranteed a newcomer joined the board. Paul Pitton defeated Cindy Enos-Martinez and George Rau in the race to replace Tisue.[4]
