Gary White is a strong conservative Christian farmer from Ashland and the only native Kansan in this race. Gary has a degree in Economics and understands the importance of small government and low taxes. Gary will bring small town values and integrity to Topeka on behalf of this rural district.

  • Gary is a Christian family man who values all lives.
  • Gary has been an agricultural advocate for over 20 years.
  • A degree in Economics in addition to being a farmer makes Gary uniquely qualified to represent this district.

Gary is conservative in social issues as well as fiscal issues. Agricultural issues and job growth are fundamental to a healthy Kansas economy. Small government with a tight belt will be needed in the chaotic economy ahead of us all. School safety is vital for parents like Gary and his wife of 30 years. The 2nd amendment is vital to protect our children as well as our freedom.

Scorecards

See also: State legislative scorecards and State legislative scorecards in Kansas

A scorecard evaluates a legislator’s voting record. Its purpose is to inform voters about the legislator’s political positions. Because scorecards have varying purposes and methodologies, each report should be considered on its own merits. For example, an advocacy group’s scorecard may assess a legislator’s voting record on one issue while a state newspaper’s scorecard may evaluate the voting record in its entirety.

Ballotpedia is in the process of developing an encyclopedic list of published scorecards. Some states have a limited number of available scorecards or scorecards produced only by select groups. It is Ballotpedia’s goal to incorporate all available scorecards regardless of ideology or number.
