Christopher Herndon
Christopher Herndon was a member of the Denver City Council in Colorado, representing District 8. Herndon assumed office in 2015. Herndon left office on July 17, 2023.
Herndon ran for re-election to the Denver City Council to represent District 8 in Colorado. Herndon won in the general election on May 7, 2019.
He was first elected to District 11 on the council in 2011. He ran for District 8 in 2015 due to redistricting. The Denver City Council appointed him to serve as council president in 2014.[1]

The city of Denver, Colorado, held elections for mayor and city council on May 5, 2015. The filing deadline for candidates who wished to run in this election was March 11, 2015. All 13 city council seats were up for election. In District 8, Christopher Herndon ran unopposed. As a result of redistricting, District 8 incumbent Albus Brooks ran for the District 9 seat.[2]
